Hello, my name is William. I have been in the field for 10 years now. I have worked in a variety of positions from Hospital settings to inpatient, to group/couples work, and the standard individual sessions. I am a sex-positive therapist who works with a wide range of issues. I work using a combination of short and long-term goals. However, I only currently work with 18+ year old individual clients. I'm not sure what exactly brought you here, but I can guess it has something to do with seeking a positive change. Perhaps this is your first-time trying therapy or you are well versed in the process. No matter the reason or experience level I would like to offer you a safe space to let those feelings out and share them in a nonjudgmental space.

Hello there, I am Desire. You might be wondering how therapy can help or how it might work for you. Therapy can be a vehicle to address any number of needs or areas of healing in one's life. I believe therapy looks like more than just talking about thoughts and emotions - though that is certainly part of it. It is about figuring out how to feel empowered, how to cope with life's worries and stressors, and how to overcome the hurts of the past. Therapy can be an effective answer in learning how to deal with any number of issues, including trauma, anxiety, work or relationship challenges, loss and depression, or just figuring out a better way to meet any goals you may have for yourself in life to live more happily and feel more fulfilled. I view a healthy therapeutic relationship as being one where you can be comfortable, heard, and seen to help create a safe space for exploration and growth. I see my role as a therapist as providing education and support that builds trust to allow us to figure out the path to get from where you are to where you would like to be.

I also graduated with a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Cambridge College of Massachusetts in 2006. I am a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in Springfield, MA. I believe that we all can empower ourselves to gain control over our lives. My focus is to educate and encourage individuals to take an integrative lifestyle (whole body system) approach to achieving and maintaining overall good health, wellness, and disease prevention. I’m a LICSW clinician, and I know reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step. My goal is to make that first step feel a little easier by offering a space where you can feel comfortable, supported, and understood. I’ve had the privilege of helping people move through trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I work from a trauma-informed lens, using a strengths-based approach and CBT tools to help you not only make sense of what you’re going through, but also find practical ways to feel better. Clients often tell me they appreciate how I balance compassion with a focus on solutions—you’ll feel heard and supported, but also leave with tools and strategies you can use in daily life. If you’re ready to explore what’s possible and take steps toward a life that feels more grounded and fulfilling, I’d love to support you along the way.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience supporting adults through life’s transitions. In my online practice, I work with individuals 18 and older navigating changes in work, school, relationships, or loss. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, depression, self-doubt, or feeling stuck — often finding it hard to focus, make decisions, or trust themselves. Whether you're adjusting to college or graduate school, facing conflict in a relationship, or questioning your sense of direction or worth, I offer a supportive space to explore what’s going on. Using cognitive behavioral and relational approaches, I help clients quiet the critical inner dialogue and reconnect with clarity, confidence, and compassion for themselves.

As an existentially oriented psychotherapist with 25 years of experience treating a range of people in a variety of settings, I work most effectively with people who are open to mindfulness and other spiritual modalities. We will work together to create an alliance as we negotiate life's inevitable challenges by establishing empathy and understanding while maintaining a strategic and solution-focused stance. Most recently, I have been influenced by Internal Family Systems therapy and have found this as a useful adjunct to my practice. I draw on a significant number of resources in my work with my clients. This will include poetry, art, music, philosophy, spiritual teachings, and literature. An openness to art and other wisdom/learning traditions can assist patients with growth as well as the normalization of the human struggle.
