Hello! I'm Gina!!
Whether you are dealing with depression, anxiety or relationship issues (including parenting) I am here to help. Reaching out and looking into therapy and finding a therapist is a difficult and scary decision. Rest assured you are on the right path. You want to feel secure and safe with your therapist, and I provide this for each of my clients. My clients have described me as compassionate, professional, and warm.
As an experienced and well-trained therapist, I can help you overcome those struggles and help you achieve the person you want to become. I look forward to being part of your journey and celebrating your victories.
Welcome! My name is April Lacey, and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois and work with clients statewide via telehealth. I see clients coping with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and self-esteem concerns.
My approach focuses on fostering a strong collaborative relationship with clients to reach their goals. I value genuineness and believe in meeting clients where they are while treating everyone with respect and compassion.
My name is Sabrina Turner. I trained at Bradley University and have 12 years of clinical experience. I focus on issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, PTSD, and ADHD. Throughout my career I have worked with clients of all ages. I primarily use person centered techniques, but I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness depending on the client. In addition, integrative approaches are helpful to most people, which means we look at your overall nutritional and physical well being in conjunction with your mental health.
Asking for help is never easy, but connection and relationships help us lead our best lives.
My goal is to help you build healthier coping skills for yourself. What that looks like is different for everyone, but I want to help you find your own unique path.
During our first session I will ask you to share some background information with me. It can be difficult to share, so please know that my number one goal is to give you a safe, nonjudgemental space to open up. In subsequent sessions we will dive deeper into your reasons for seeking therapy. We will explore techniques that are already working for you and add in new skills along the way. If you are looking for a clinician to walk alongside you while you discover yourself and how to be your best version, we will likely be a good fit!
I believe therapy works best when it feels less like a clinical appointment and more like a conversation with someone who's genuinely listening — really listening, not just waiting for their turn to speak. That's the space I try to create in every session: one where you can be honest without feeling judged, and where you leave feeling a little lighter than when you walked in.
Many of my clients tell me they felt comfortable opening up right away, even in their very first session. That's not an accident — I take the time to understand where you actually are in your life before jumping to solutions. Whether you're navigating a major life transition, working through anxiety or depression, or just feeling stuck and unsure how to move forward, my goal is to help you see your situation more clearly and find a path that actually fits your life.
I use an integrative approach — drawing on humanistic, solution-focused, and behavioral techniques — but the tools matter less than the relationship. I want you to feel heard, supported, and a little more hopeful after every conversation we have.
Looking for coping skills to manage frequent daily stressors, previous trauma, depression or anxiety? I've been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for 23 years and have had a variety of different roles in the behavioral health field. I believe my personal and employment experiences over the years help to inform the way I am with clients.
While I work with adult individuals only at this time, I'm skilled in relationship dynamics and work a lot with individuals who are also involved in therapy with their spouse or significant other. Sometimes individual therapy is required to address personal issues which impact the relationship.
Reaching out for help or trying therapy for the first time can be stressful for some due to past trauma, fear of vulnerability, trust issues, the unknown, etc. If you've made it this far, I'm glad you're pushing through the uncomfortableness in hopes of finding new skills or techniques to help improve your current situation.
**I'm licensed in IL, IN, and NM.**

Hi! I live in Indiana, but I graduated from the University of Illinois @ Chicago with my Master of Social Work degree in 2001. I have been working in the field for over 25 years in many different disciplines. I worked at domestic violence shelters, with child and family services, vocational rehabilitation counselor with deaf and hard of hearing, also teaching at the college level, and hospital social work. Now, my goal is to help others get through life's struggles, make positive changes in their lives, and become more confident in themselves.
I am a social worker with 25 years of experience supporting clients across the lifespan — from infants and their caregivers to older adults navigating later‑life challenges. My work is grounded in the belief that our thoughts are powerful drivers of our emotions and behaviors. When we learn to understand and reshape those thoughts, meaningful and lasting change becomes possible.
Using Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), I help clients harness the power of their thinking to influence how they feel and act in everyday situations. Many people have been taught to “just change their behavior,” and when that doesn’t work, they blame themselves. I guide clients toward a different approach — one that starts with the mind, not with willpower.
In our sessions, I use analogies, real‑life examples, and practical tools that clients can immediately apply. My goal is for every session to end with one new tool for their toolbox, something concrete they can practice between sessions. And while the work is meaningful, I believe it can also be engaging — even fun — as clients begin to see themselves and the world through a new, more empowering lens.

My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative, allowing clients to explore their experiences at a pace that feels comfortable while still working toward meaningful change.
Many people come to therapy carrying stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or past experiences while continuing to manage daily responsibilities. I enjoy helping people make sense of what they are going through, build insight, and reconnect with their strengths. Conversations are honest and thoughtful, with a focus on understanding the whole person rather than just one concern.
My goal is to offer steady guidance while respecting each client’s individuality, goals, and values. Therapy becomes a space to reflect, gain clarity, heal, and begin moving forward with greater confidence and emotional balance.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois with 15 years of professional clinical experience, in schools, community-based, and private practice. I have worked with individuals ranging in age from 3-25. I have very specialized training and experience in helping clients with trauma and abuse, depression, anxiety, motivation, sense of self-worth, and confidence. I'm deeply committed to clients and their desire to heal, improve their quality of life, and/or navigate a difficult time in life. Additionally, I have specific training and experience in supporting women's mental health, young adults, and individuals experiencing challenges related to chronic pain, body image, and interpersonal dynamics.
I am very communicative with clients, and always offer to provide resources or materials to support you in between sessions. I do like clients to know that I genuinely love what I do. I was lucky enough to find a career, kind of on accident, that I truly enjoy. I am a strong advocate for my clients, but will challenge you when it is appropriate. I value providing a safe space for clients to allow them to be vulnerable.
We all experience difficult periods in our life, unfortunately some more than others. Therapy is one tool that can help you process, understand your thoughts and emotions, and give you the opportunity to be truly heard. Therapy doesn't need to be used as a last resort, I find it incredibly helpful when used preventatively as well.
If you choose to try therapy, I would be grateful to be a part of that experience and provide to you tailored therapeutic approaches to best help you. Drawing from extensive clinical experience, I tailor interventions to meet each individual's unique needs, focusing on empowerment, resilience, and holistic well-being. Together, we can work towards transformative personal insights and sustainable emotional wellness.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe healing is about more than reducing symptoms—it’s about helping you reconnect with the person you were always meant to be. If you’ve been living in survival mode, carrying the weight of trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, know that healing is possible. My goal is to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe, heard, and supported as you move toward lasting emotional wellness.
I provide trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy that honors the connection between the mind, body, emotions, and relationships. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, nervous system regulation, somatic practices, and Relational Life Therapy (RLT) for couples. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor treatment to your unique experiences, strengths, values, and goals, recognizing that every healing journey is different.
Many of the people I work with have spent years putting everyone else’s needs before their own. They may struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, low self-worth, burnout, unresolved trauma, grief, or feeling disconnected from themselves. Others are navigating difficult relationships, divorce, parenting challenges, or significant life changes and want healthier ways to cope. Together, we’ll identify the patterns that are keeping you stuck and begin creating new ways of thinking, feeling, and responding that support the life you want to build.
Our work together will focus on understanding how past experiences continue to influence your present. We’ll explore the beliefs, behaviors, and emotional patterns that developed as protective strategies while learning practical skills to regulate your nervous system, manage stress, improve communication, establish healthy boundaries, strengthen self-trust, and cultivate resilience. My goal is not simply to help you feel better in the moment, but to help you create meaningful, sustainable change that lasts long after therapy ends.

I am licensed in Illinois with 11 years of professional therapy work experience. I also am a sociologist of 30 years, studying and teaching on behavior within society. I have experience helping clients with anxiety, stress, grief, trauma and abuse, relationship difficulties, and family conflicts. I treat everyone with compassion, sensitivity, and respect. I work with my clients to meet their specific needs. It takes courage to take that first step to a more fulfilling, productive, and happier life. I am here to provide a safe space and support you through that process.
I hold a Clinical Psychologist license to practice in Illinois. I completed my doctorate studies at Adler University. My professional experience in treatment spans over 25 years. I believe a person holds the ability to transform their life for the better. I find satisfaction in helping them advance on their path. The following examples show my methods for treating anxiety and depression.
The evidence-based treatment method I use for anxiety focuses on individualized symptom-specific approaches that match the client’s needs and personal preferences. The combination of repetitive and irrational thoughts about perceived danger, uncertainty or failure creates distressing mental states which may manifest as negative thought, such as: "I am not good enough" or "something bad will happen" or "I will be fired if I make a mistake."
I assist my clients to detect and fight their negative beliefs and thoughts. I guide clients to manage their anxiety symptoms with mindfulness breathing techniques and progressive muscle relaxation methods. With assigned homework including mindfulness exercises, I guide the client to maintain their progress and self-regulation between sessions.
My depression treatment approach matches each client's symptoms, their life history, and their social environment. Depression exists on a spectrum from temporary sadness to persistent and severe Major Depressive Disorder. The maintenance of depression relies on negative thoughts such as “I am worthless” or “Nothing will ever get better.” Our focus will be to identify and modify.
Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients view their depressive thoughts in a non-judgmental manner to reduce their rumination and emotional distress. By teaching problem solving skills and the practice of mindfulness helps the individual become more aware of their physical tension. Assigning homework guides the individual to improve sleep hygiene, self-care, and build effective coping strategies.

In today's world, mental health support is needed more than ever. Mental health IS health. It's time to end the stigma and realize it's okay to not be okay. Finding a therapist can be a daunting process but congratulations on taking the first step! As a therapist, I am to foster an environment that is warm, collaborative, supportive, and nonjudgmental.
Born and raised in Massachusetts, I earned my Masters in Social Work from Boston College after receiving my Bachelors of Arts degree in history. I am licensed in all 6 New England states (RI was just added), in addition to Illinois. Over the course of my career, I have had the privilege to work with a vast array of individuals from all walks of life including children and adolescents, adults, seniors, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. As a telehealth provider, I only treat adults over the age of 22.
I have found that many people enter therapy not because of a complex mental health issue but because of a general feeling of life not being what they would like it to be. I've been there. Many years ago I embarked on my own personal growth journey and I believe that has made me a more compassionate, empathic therapist.
I am very active in the therapeutic process and give direct feedback and suggestions for implementing lifestyle changes.
I have been a therapist for over 30 years, specializing primarily in depression/anxiety, relationship issues, and addiction/alcoholism. I believe that pain shared is pain lessened and that people can and do recover from issues that have been troubling them for years. I work with individuals and couples. I help clients find a healthy perception of themselves and strengthen their relationships. We can partner to identify what works and what doesn’t to create a new path that works better. I have experience with individual, family, and group modalities and will use an integrative approach based on your needs. This may include: client-centered, mindfulness, solution focused, and trauma-informed techniques.
I truly believe that having a good relationship and feeling comfortable with your therapist is an essential part of therapy. I provide a relaxed casual environment where you'll feel you can express yourself openly without judgement. I will warmly, but honestly guide you through your journey of change, adjustment, and growth. I look forward to talking with you and beginning a process that will lead to greater happiness, less stress, and an overall better quality of life.

Feeling like you’re carrying the weight of it all? As women and mothers, we often juggle endless to-do lists, emotional labor, and the invisible “mental load” that keeps everything running yet leaves little room for ourselves. You might be feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or guilty for not doing “enough,” even when you’re giving your all. I work with women who are ready to release the constant pressure to manage it all and reconnect with themselves again. Together, we’ll explore what balance, peace, and fulfillment actually look like for you. My goal is to help you feel grounded, capable, and more like yourself again.
My therapeutic style is integrative, blending elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques. I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs, whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma or life transitions. We’ll work to better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a safe space.
When we’re able to see things from a different perspective, it helps us find a better solution to the problem. I’m not someone who is going to tell you what to do, but someone who will help you problem solve and find what works best for you. I want to work with you and help you become a better and happier you!
Hello, I’m Suzette, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, life changes, and women’s issues. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, deal with pressure, and are trying to manage relationships and daily responsibilities. I also work with athletes and high-performing individuals who are dealing with confidence, pressure, and the mental side of performance. My style is direct, supportive, and focused. In our work together, we’ll talk through what’s going on, identify what’s getting in the way, and focus on helping you move forward with more clarity and confidence.
