New to Grow
We all have challenges we face, like day-to-day anxiety, work stress, seasonal changes in mood, or life transitions. A strong support system is vital for navigating challenges & building resilience, & having an unbiased ear can be a game-changer. My clients often come to me with concerns such heightened anxiety, depressive symptoms, difficulty coping, negative self talk. I work with a range of clients, from young adulthood, to expectant and new mothers, to individuals who are mid-life and navigating a new season in their lives, and searching for tools to cope. Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, & though I don’t know you (yet), please know I am proud you’ve taken this step!
Take a deep breath, and relax--our first session together is a chance to get to know each other. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, your background, and your therapeutic goals. This session is our chance to start off on the right foot to build trust, understand your story, and set the foundation for our work together. We will explore what matters most to you & identify goals that feel meaningful & achievable. Our goals will be centered on what you want to achieve in therapy. My aim is to provide support, guidance, and tools to help you move toward growth & healing at your own pace, adjusting our approach as your goals naturally evolve over time.
I meet clients "where they are at" & work at your pace to foster a deeper understanding of yourself, while building a toolbox of coping techniques. My approach is compassionate & collaborative, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy & mindfulness practices to help you build awareness, strengthen coping skills, & feel more grounded in daily life. You can expect open, supportive communication where your voice is valued, and your experiences are honored. I listen with empathy and intention, encouraging reflection and collaboration so you feel empowered, understood, and supported throughout our time together. I’ve been a social worker in healthcare for nearly 10 years, supporting clients of all ages through life changes, grief, & challenging hospital experiences. Growing up, my family didn’t talk much about feelings or how to cope, which inspires my passion for guidance & supporting others—something I hope to share with you.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Our wellbeing is impacted by what we think, how we behave, and is influenced by how other people make us feel. CBT is problem-oriented, and is helpful in identifying unhelpful thought patterns; CBT helps us to gain clarity around our thoughts, attitudes, and expectations, with the goal of recognizing these distressing beliefs, and reframing unhelpful/harmful patterns. CBT is used to treat anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, and other mental health challenges, often empowering individuals to develop new coping skills, and be able to reframe these thoughts independently moving forward.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness-Based Therapy is used to integrate present-moment awareness and non-judgmental acceptance into psychotherapy to treat depression, anxiety, and stress to break patterns of rumination.
Supportive
Supportive therapy is a practical talk therapy used to reduce distress, strengthen coping skills, and stabilize emotions by fostering a strong, empathetic alliance between patient and therapist. It acts as a foundation for daily functioning, focusing on current challenges rather than unconscious conflicts, making it effective for anxiety and depression.
