I have been practicing for over 10 years, and it has been my passion from the beginning. I obtained my Master's degree at the University of Southern California (USC) with concentrations in Health and Mental Health. Working in mental health comes from a deep desire to help others. I have always been curious and passionate about learning how the mind works and what drives certain behaviors. I am continually inspired by human resilience and feel privileged to be in a field that allows me to support others as they explore their identities, discover themselves, deepen self-understanding, and heal from intergenerational wounds and unhelpful patterns. I genuinely believe that you as the client are the expert of your own life and I am here to guide you through your individual journey and human growth. I provide a comforting, compassionate, and free of judgment space. I take a collaborative approach, helping you gain deeper insight into yourself and the underlying factors that may be contributing to life’s challenges. Together, we work towards creating changes that foster a more fulfilling life. In our work together, I meet you where you are and provide guidance as you move forward.

With over to 20 years of experience working alongside children, teens, adults, and families, I’ve learned the importance of meeting people exactly where they are, whether mentally, emotionally, or sometimes even physically. My “out-of-the-box” approach is flexible and adaptable to each individual's unique needs, offering creative, client-centered strategies where you can feel safe, supported, and empowered to explore at your own pace. My journey began in community-based settings, working with individuals and families often navigating complex systems. That foundation shaped my core belief: to show up to each session with curiosity and deep respect for each person’s unique story. My approach has always been to meet clients where they are, helping them discover healthier coping mechanisms and become more effective in their daily lives. Therapy with me is not one-size-fits-all. I tailor each session to your unique needs, integrating different modalities to support your growth in ways that feel natural and accessible to you. As your therapist, I show up as my authentic self, with the intention of creating a space where you feel safe, supported, and empowered to explore at your own pace. I offer an environment where you can express yourself freely, gain deeper insight into your thoughts and emotions, and develop tools to navigate life’s challenges more effectively.

Parisa Gallinger, Psy.D., LMFT I hold a doctorate in psychology and am certified by the California Board as a marriage and family therapist working with individuals, families, and couples. My mission is to create a supportive space where we can face fears with compassion, courageously embrace openness, and find relief in human connections. Our sense of identity can be in crisis due to the burdensome societal expectations placed on us. So much of what I love about my work as a therapist and faculty member at the Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology, where I teach clinical psychology graduate courses, is getting to know people and helping them through life, one step at a time, no matter who they are or where they are on their path.

My style is warm, curious, engaged, and down-to-earth. I’m not the kind of therapist who sits silently and occasionally asks, “How does that make you feel?” I’ll be right there with you—asking questions, noticing patterns, offering perspective, and sometimes bringing humor into the room when it feels right. I work especially well with thoughtful, self-aware people who have done a lot of thinking about themselves but still find themselves caught in patterns they can’t quite think their way out of. You may be successful and capable on the outside while privately struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, relationship patterns, or a persistent sense that something is missing. I also work with people who feel disconnected—from their emotions, their relationships, or even themselves. Sometimes that disconnection developed for very good reasons. If you learned early in life to stay in control, rely on yourself, push feelings aside, or keep others at a distance, those strategies may have helped you survive difficult experiences but now leave you feeling stuck or alone. My approach is grounded largely in Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment theory, mindfulness, and somatic work. Rather than asking, “What’s wrong with you?” we get curious about what happened, what you learned to do to survive or belong, and what different parts of you may still be trying to protect. Our work is about more than understanding yourself. It’s about experiencing yourself differently—with more compassion, more choice, deeper connection, and less internal noise.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who was born and raised on Maui, Hawaiʻi. I am of mixed heritage—Hawaiian and Portuguese—and grew up at the intersection of Western influence and Indigenous ways of knowing. In my community, when someone was suffering, the first line of care often came from community healers—curandeiras—who worked with energy, connected with ancestors, and attended to what could not always be seen or spoken. There was also the influence of the land itself: the place that roots us, communicates with us, and teaches us. These early experiences shaped the way I understand healing, connection, and the deeper layers of human experience. As a mixed-race trans man, I have spent much of my life navigating the intersections of culture, identity, and belonging. These lived experiences have shaped my capacity to hold complexity and nuance in the therapeutic process, and they have given me a unique perspective on how we hold ourselves—and one another—in mind. My work is grounded in an attachment-based, trauma-recovery, depth-oriented, and liberation-focused framework. Depending on the needs of my clients, I also incorporate parts work, somatic approaches, mindfulness, and Brainspotting. I pay close attention to what is communicated beyond language—through tone, emotion, and presence. My ability to read people allows me to hear what is often veiled but deeply important to the experiences that may be keeping someone stuck. I approach this work with humility, care, and deep respect for each person’s story. I have worked in the mental health field since 1995 across the San Francisco Bay Area, Maui, and Portland, Oregon, and I have been licensed and in private practice since 2017. It is a true honor to support people in their healing, growth, and self-understanding.

As a veteran therapist in my 70s, I've helped hundreds get to where they want to go. I'll come along side you - not as a sage on the stage but a guide on the side. We'll work together to explore where you've been, where you are, and where you want to go - at your pace, in your style, on your own terms. I provide a free 15-minute consultation to see if we're a good fit. I specialize in working with adults navigating through grief, failures, losses, depression, anxietym betrayals, uncertainties, setbacks, traumas, etc. I customize our sessions to your needs and wants (integrating client-centered, DBT, ACT, experiential, solution focused, and narrative modalities, from a faith-based perspective if desired). One of my life's mottos is "to see the best and to bring out the best in others." We'll explore and build on your strengths as we work towards moving from old patterns of thinking, feeling, and being that have held you back to becoming more of the best version of yourself.

It takes courage to begin counseling. Right now, as you search for the "right therapist", it may feel a bit like a “dating app” — scrolling through profiles, hoping to find the right person. I understand how overwhelming that can feel. Starting therapy can feel daunting. My role is to create a safe, comfortable, and engaging space where you feel understood — and where you feel like you’re truly getting somewhere. My counseling style feels more like a meaningful conversation than a formal question-and-answer session. I blend clinical expertise and experience with humor, honesty, and heart. I offer reflection, personal insight, and practical tools that help clients create real changes in their lives and relationships. As an experienced clinical social worker, I taught at the USC School of Social Work, training the next generation of therapists. I have spoken at conferences across the country for therapists and medical professionals, and I taught “Making Marriage Work” for 10 years at American Jewish University. I have helped individuals and couples strengthen their relationships through clearer communication, deeper emotional connection, and practical strategies. I am also a Certified Sex Therapist. On the Grow platform, I currently accept individual clients (only) seeking support with sexual concerns, challenges and compulsive sexual behaviors. As a private pay therapist on Grow, I am open to working with couples. In addition to my clinical work, I have long been committed to volunteer service. For many years, I have worked with the Red Cross providing Disaster Mental Health support to individuals experiencing profound trauma. I am deeply grateful to be able to offer compassionate care in these critical moments.

I help my clients realize their personal goals through a trauma-informed and empathic approach. My expertise is working with people who have experienced a traumatic event and/or are experiencing mental health struggles/issues, helping them uncover obstacles that hinder their ability to reach their fullest potential. My lived experience brought me to help others as I would have loved to be helped: someone to tell me I’m not alone. Life is hard, and traumas become unbearable without someone in your corner to help process what you have been through.

Hi, I’m Natalie! I’m a Northern California-based Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works individually with adults. I believes therapy is most effective when it feels like a genuine, supportive relationship. Real progress happens when you feel comfortable, understood, and connected—and that’s always where I begin. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine. Though my title says "Marriage and Family," my door is open to individuals, couples, and families alike, because pain doesn't always fit neatly into one category, and neither does healing. My clients often arrive having carried their struggles alone for far too long. Maybe it's crushing stress that follows them from morning to night. Maybe it's anxiety that hums beneath the surface, never quite letting them rest. Maybe it's a relationship that once felt like home but now feels like a battlefield. Or maybe there's no name for it at all, just a quiet, persistent sense that something isn't right. I understand that place. I've sat with people in their darkest moments, in psychiatric facilities, in schools, in the quiet corners of their own lives, and I've witnessed both profound suffering and extraordinary resilience. I've learned that healing rarely happens in a single breakthrough. It happens in the steady, patient work of being seen, understood, and challenged to grow. Now in private practice, I offer something different from the quick fixes and surface-level solutions that so often leave people feeling unheard. I offer sustained, meaningful work, the kind that takes time, honesty, and courage. Whether you're navigating anxiety, stress, relationship wounds, or simply feeling stuck, I'm here to walk alongside you. Not to rush you. Not to judge you. But to help you find your way back to yourself, one honest conversation at a time.

Welcome, I am so glad you are here! Taking the first step toward therapy requires immense courage, and I want you to know right from the start that you are in the right place, and you do not have to go through this alone. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California, I bring over 10 years of heartfelt experience across a variety of settings. I earned my Master’s Degree from California State University, Fullerton, and have had the absolute privilege of walking alongside people of all ages and walks of life. Over the last decade, I have helped individuals navigate anxiety and depression, the deep pain of loss and grief, the uncertainty of major life transitions, and the heavy exhaustion of burnout. I also work closely with those untangling the complexities of past trauma, navigating relationship dynamics, and quieting the critical inner voice to build genuine self-esteem. Whatever challenges you are facing, we will work hand-in-hand to help you find clarity, reclaim your story, and discover your inner strength. I want this to be a safe space where you unpack your story whenever you're ready. Hello, my name is Yin. I am a bilingual (English/Cantonese) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified EMDR Therapist with over 24 years of clinical experience in mental health. In addition to my private practice, I serve as a Senior Behavioral Health Clinician at Berkeley Mental Health. My journey to becoming a licensed therapist has been long and, at times, challenging. There is often an assumption that therapists have had perfect lives—secure attachments, harmonious families, and a clear path forward. My experience has been different. As an immigrant from Hong Kong, I have experienced the pain of leaving loved ones behind, starting over in a new country, navigating family challenges and transitions, moving through loss, heartbreak, and trauma. These experiences have shaped who I am today and allow me to meet my clients with genuine understanding, empathy, and respect for their resilience and capacity to heal. They have deepened my belief that healing does not mean having a perfect life; it means learning to understand ourselves, finding compassion for our experiences, and discovering the strength to move forward. I want you to know that healing is possible and within reach. It is an honor and privilege to support my clients, especially in places that I, too, have traveled emotionally. I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, guilt, shame, and other challenges that can leave them feeling stuck or overwhelmed. As a Certified EMDR Therapist, I incorporate EMDR when appropriate to help clients process difficult experiences and move toward greater emotional well-being. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported as you reconnect with your strengths and move toward a more meaningful life.

If you’re looking for a therapist who will actually listen—who won’t dismiss your concerns or pathologize your pain—you’re in the right place. Maybe you're wondering if you have ADHD, autism, or anxiety. Maybe you've been masking for years and don’t know where to start. Maybe you're carrying trauma, grief, or a deep sense that something has always felt a little off. I work with people who’ve spent too long feeling misunderstood, misdiagnosed, or minimized—and are ready for something different. You don’t need a perfect narrative. You don’t need to show up polished. You don’t even need to be sure what you need yet. With over 11 years of experience, I specialize in working with neurodivergent and emotionally complex clients—including first responders, trauma survivors, and members of the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. I have a Master’s in Clinical Counseling, a Master’s in Forensic Psychology, and I’m currently completing a Ph.D. in Forensic Psychology. I combine clinical insight with curiosity, humor, and a belief in your capacity to grow—even if it’s messy.

I approach therapy with warmth, honesty, and compassion. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported enough to explore difficult experiences while also feeling gently challenged to grow. I care deeply about creating a therapeutic relationship where people feel respected, understood, and able to approach difficult parts of their lives with curiosity rather than judgment. Outside of therapy, I enjoy paddle boarding in the summer, long conversations with loved ones over a leisurely meal, and just about anything related to musical theater. I’m also a big fan of ceramics and afternoon naps—two things that help me stay grounded and appreciate small moments of creativity and rest.

Hi, I’m Norma Elia Luna, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the therapist behind Sol de Luna Therapy. I provide warm, collaborative, trauma-informed therapy that integrates attachment-focused and somatic perspectives. I believe the patterns we struggle with often make more sense when we understand what they have been trying to protect us from. In our work, we may explore how past experiences, relationships, emotions, and nervous system responses continue to shape the way you experience yourself and the people around you today. My goal is not simply to help you manage symptoms, but to help you understand yourself more deeply, reconnect with your own needs and strengths, and develop new ways of responding that feel more aligned with the life and relationships you want.

I specialize in helping adults recover from obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), chronic anxiety, and the lasting effects of complex trauma. My approach is active, collaborative, and recovery-focused. My goal is not simply to help you feel better during our sessions, but to help you build the skills and confidence to live your life with greater freedom outside of therapy. For clients struggling with OCD and anxiety, I use evidence-based approaches including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) to help reduce fear, break unhelpful patterns, and develop lasting resilience. Therapy with me is an active process. Together we'll identify meaningful goals, practice practical skills, and take manageable steps toward lasting change. Recovery takes courage and commitment, but healing is possible. My role is to provide guidance, support, and evidence-based tools while empowering you to become increasingly confident in your ability to navigate life's challenges. If you're ready to do the work of recovery and build a life that feels bigger than anxiety, fear, or past experiences, I'd be honored to work with you.
