I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and have been practicing since 2020. I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical and School Counseling from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships so they can break unhelpful patterns and respond to life with greater intention. My work often focuses on anxiety, trauma, grief, emotional regulation, relationship concerns, self-esteem, boundaries, and major life transitions.
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to each person’s needs and goals, drawing from approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT-informed skills, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. My goal is to help clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional flexibility, resilience, and confidence while creating meaningful and sustainable change.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy hiking, traveling, reading, painting, journaling, and spending time with family and friends.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about helping people feel more grounded, confident, and supported. I have extensive experience working with adults and older adults from various backgrounds facing emotional issues and complicated medical conditions. I specialize in supporting individuals managing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and caregiver stress, as well as those seeking guidance in building healthier relationships and improving self-esteem. My work is rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration-creating a safe space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.
My name is Chiwoo. I enjoy working with individuals who struggle with overthinking, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. As a recovering people-pleaser myself, I understand the challenge of being your authentic self while trying to meet other people's expectations. In therapy, I combine evidence-based approaches with my own healing journey to help you feel less alone, build self-trust, and live with more confidence.
As a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles, I have 15 years of experience helping clients navigate complex emotions and enhance their relationships. I typically work with professionals seeking support in areas such as romantic partnerships, parenting, relationships with parents, or workplace dynamics. To reach these relationship goals, in addition to improving communication and conflict resolution, usually it is necessary to help clients with managing anger, reducing anxiety, and overcoming periods of low mood.
Hello,
I was born and raised in Stockton, California. I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 17 and in 1997, after 25 yeas of service, I retired from the Marine Corps as a Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Marine Corps, I worked as a Farrier (Horseshoer), as well as a structural welder (Ironworker), as those were the most marketable skill that I had. I came to a point where old injuries came back to haunt me and I could no longer walk (several years later, thanks to a surgery through the VA, I can walk again; thankful for that).
At this point, I changed professions and out of a desire to work with veterans, I returned to school, accomplishing all that was necessary to become a licensed counselor. I spent another career working for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically as a counselor in the Readjustment Counseling Service (Vet Center). I recently retired from the Vet Center and now I work part-time here with Grow Therapy.
As a retired Marine senior staff Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) and disabled combat veteran myself, the Vet Center was the perfect job. Vet Centers provide readjustment counseling to combat veterans and provide counseling to survivors of military sexual trauma (MST). Vet Centers also provide group counseling, bereavement counseling and couples counseling when this is determined to be of support to the veteran.
Readjustment counseling many times consists of treating/addressing symptoms related to post-traumatic stress (PTSD), I.e., anxiety, depression, exaggerated startle response, hypervigilance, sleep disturbance, etc. Many veterans go on to work as first responders and working with many first responders as well as medical personal, has provided me with a great deal of additional experience.
Hi there! Welcome to my practice! Being a therapist is not just a job for me, it is a calling. I discovered that I wanted to become a therapist later in life and so bring a wealth of my own lived experience and knowledge to my practice. My curiosity and thirst for knowledge in this field seems to be unending. I have worked in a community clinic, at Kaiser Permanente, and a private practice for over 16 years. I have also had the pleasure of supervising associate therapists and taught at the University of San Francisco for six years in their Master’s level Counseling Psychology Program. I hope you will inquire and book an intake appointment with me!

I am a compassionate, trauma-informed therapist supporting individuals navigating trauma, crisis, addiction, anxiety, life transitions, and unresolved conflict. I work with first responders, trauma survivors, recently hospitalized, individuals with complex PTSD, postpartum depression, or other acute mental health diagnoses.
My approach is whole-person centered, exploring the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of the journey that brought you here. Together, we’ll build resilience, deepen self-awareness, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
Hi! I am Anne Gimbel, licensed marriage and family therapist, and I begin by meeting you at your place of growth or need for healing. My goal with individuals, couples, or families is to explore and identify the thoughts that have a direct impact on your emotions and behaviors. Whether dealing with life-cycle issues, trauma, abuse, grief, recovery, or other changes that are occurring, I am active in the process to help you overcome these challenges. We will build a life you deserve by learning better communication and setting boundaries for your future.
I am a licensed therapist who believes that meaningful change begins when we slow down and meet ourselves with curiosity instead of judgment. My path to this work wasn’t linear; I spent fifteen years in a different career before making my own midlife transition to mental health a decade ago. That experience taught me firsthand the courage it takes to reinvent yourself.
My clinical foundation was forged in community mental health and crisis work, where I had the privilege of working with a beautifully diverse cross-section of people—including LGBTQIA+ individuals, neurodivergent folks, elders and other marginalized communities. This rich background has shaped me into a practitioner who values inclusivity, honors identity, and meets every client exactly where they are in their healing journey. See my website Returning Presence for more info about my approach and background.

Are you striving to find satisfaction with your work, life or relationships? Do you want to focus on fixing immediate problems rather than unraveling past hurts? Do you want to build a strong foundation for your current or future relationship? Have you grown tired of being treated like a problem and not a person? I primarily take a narrative approach to counseling. Narrative therapy begins with the premise that you are not the problem; the problem is the problem. The way we see ourselves can be defined by the language that we use. I see my role as a co-author, helping you develop an alternate personal history so that you may move forward with courage and confidence.
Are you looking to make changes in your life but don't know where to start? Have you recently experienced a change in your life and are struggling to pick up the pieces? Do you feel stuck repeating the same patterns again and again?
I provide a straight forward, down to earth, comfortable atmosphere for adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma/abuse, life transition issues, single mother issues, stress.
My goal is to guide you toward a resolution of these problems and help you identify their origins so that you do not repeat the same patterns of coping that were unsuccessful in the past. I also provide various resources in the form of homework exercises designed to assist you in your therapeutic journey.
I believe therapy should be a place where you feel understood, supported, and challenged to grow. I take a warm, collaborative, and evidence-based approach, helping clients develop practical skills that create lasting change rather than temporary relief. Together, we will address the root of what it is that you are experiencing. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, or feeling stuck, we'll work together to understand what's keeping you there and build a plan that helps you move forward with confidence.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with over 40 years of experience supporting adults through anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, and relationship challenges. I have extensive experience working with survivors of domestic violence, as well as individuals navigating complex life patterns shaped by past experiences.
I specialize in working with adults, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, and provide a supportive, affirming space where clients can show up as they are. I also work with couples on occasion. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I bring both professional and lived understanding to this work.
My approach is warm, compassionate, and direct. I believe therapy should be both supportive and effective—while you will always be heard and understood, I also actively engage in sessions to help you move forward. I won’t let you stay stuck. Together, we’ll break challenges down into manageable steps, build practical tools, and create meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.
I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. I often incorporate structured exercises and between-session practices to help you apply what we discuss in real life, while remaining flexible and responsive to your individual needs.
Clients often appreciate that I am clear, consistent, and gently persistent—I will meet you where you are, while continuing to support and encourage your growth, even when things feel difficult or overwhelming. My goal is to help you build insight, resilience, and confidence so you can create a more stable, fulfilling, and peaceful life.
I am committed to practicing with empathy, respect, and without judgment, honoring each person’s dignity and lived experience. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.

Hello. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 10 years of licensure and 25 years of experience in social work overall. I've sat with people through some of their hardest moments, first in hospitals and crisis units, then alongside therapists, psychiatrists, and nurses in community mental health, and now in private practice.
I specialize in working with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, ADHD, life transitions, burnout, and grief. My approach draws from evidence-based methods including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic work, narrative therapy, and psychodynamic thinking. I pull from whichever approach fits the person and the moment.
Our work together can be structured and methodical, creative and intuitive, or a mix of both. Some clients want concrete tools. Others want space to talk things through. Both are welcome, and we adjust the approach to what works for you.
People are remarkably specific in their struggles and strengths. The exact way someone shuts down, springs into action, or just endures is worth paying close attention to. I have a "come as you are" mentality. Tired, grumpy, not sure what you want to say, or showing up with a set agenda, all of that is welcome. I don't want anyone to feel like they have to perform.
I work with adults throughout California via telehealth and accept a wide range of insurance including Kaiser, Aetna, Cigna, Anthem, Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare/Optum, and Medi-Cal through Partnership HealthPlan and other managed care plans.

Through your strengths and weaknesses, you will learn to embrace each and every experience, and you will gain the knowledge to make the changes you need to achieve your goals. You will find the power within you to bring fulfillment to your life journey.
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience helping people, couples, and families grow, and learn what they need to have a more fulfilling life experience. My approach looks at the whole picture: who you are, what you’ve carried, and the real-world environment you navigate every day. Welcome! I am a couples therapist helping partners work through conflict, communication breakdowns, and emotional disconnection. I specialize in how ADHD, anxiety, attachment wounds, and emotional stress show up in relationships.
I often work with couples who feel stuck in a painful cycle where one partner shuts down, avoids conflict, or becomes overwhelmed, while the other pushes harder for connection, answers, or reassurance. Many of the couples I work with love each other deeply but feel exhausted by repeated arguments, defensiveness, resentment, or feeling more like roommates than partners.
I am a seasoned, compassionate, and direct therapist with more than 20 years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges and create meaningful change. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches, tailored to your unique needs, goals, and experiences, to help you reach your personal and professional potential. While my style is collaborative and client-centered, I am also active and solution-focused, often incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with other proven therapeutic approaches.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of successful treatment. Building a genuine connection based on trust, respect, and mutual understanding creates a safe space for growth and healing. I also recognize the powerful role relationships play in our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being, and I strive to understand your unique experiences within that context.
Because every client is different, I tailor each session to meet your individual needs. Some sessions may be structured and goal-oriented, incorporating CBT techniques, practical tools, and between-session exercises to support lasting change. Other times, you may simply need a compassionate, supportive space to process life's challenges. My goal is to help you gain insight, develop effective coping strategies, and build a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life.

I’m Craig Bissell, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual therapy for adults and couples throughout California. After years working in intensive behavioral health and substance use treatment, I now specialize in helping people work through trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, relationship challenges, and patterns that keep them feeling stuck. My approach is direct, collaborative, and integrative, using EMDR, ACT, and insight-oriented therapy to help people understand what is driving those patterns and make meaningful, lasting changes.
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Southern California. I received my master's in social work (MSW) from the University of Southern California (USC) and have been practicing for over 15 years. I help adults struggling with life transitions and stress to improve their quality of life. Some of my personal strengths include empathy, kindness and a good sense of humor. My work experience has also led me to clinically supervise new therapists in the field.
