I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides a supportive, collaborative space where clients feel heard and understood. I specialize in helping children, teens, and adults navigate anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges using practical, evidence-based approaches. My goal is to help clients build insight, develop effective coping skills, and feel more confident and in control of their lives.
Welcome. I’m really glad you’re here. Reaching out for support can be a meaningful and courageous step, and you deserve a space where you feel safe, understood, and accepted just as you are.
I am a first-generation Latina, queer, and bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Southern California. I understand the complexities of navigating multiple intersecting identities and the impact this can have on mental health, relationships, and self-worth. My approach centers on honoring all parts of who you are, creating a supportive and affirming space where your lived experiences are seen, respected, and valued.
I like to bring a human, warm side to the therapy space starting with the first session. I offer support, coping strategies and space to get to know yourself more deeply. I use a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, somatic experiencing and humanistic approaches in my work. My clients feel supported, comfortable and free to express themselves fully as we built rapport.
Greetings,
Life can be confusing, relationships can be stressful, and the present can make you feel anxious or depressed. Sometimes a painful past can surface into the moment, especially when situations are difficult or when you are experiencing major change. During these periods your mood and thoughts can be affected in negative ways. When you are feeling alone, disconnected, or confused, talking things through can make all the difference.
I work with anyone struggling to find joy, peace, and fulfillment. I offer a safe, inviting space for you to share thoughts and feelings, to vent, to feel heard, and to reorient to meaning. Please allow me to assist you finding relief and clarity. I will meet you where you are at and welcome you. I address healing on multiple levels of the body-mind connection with a focus on the notion that caring about something or someone along with experiencing meaning can counterbalance the effects of hurt, a disturbing past, or a present stressful situation or transition.
I have more than 20 years of experience helping clients navigate major change and transition, gain closure, and create new beginnings. I apply interventions from a mind-body-being perspective and assess current life stressors to distinguish between situational mood and thought disturbances from those enduring and a consequence of previous hurt or trauma.
You're here! Right here, right now! You may not be there yet, but you have already taken a step towards facing challenges with a strength you never knew you had. Helping you make even the smallest steps towards your goal every day brings me joy and I make sure to let you know when I've noticed your progress. Even when they seem too small to notice, I'll notice! You’ll be surprised how much a little positivity can help.

Welcome to Dr. Mitchell’s Safe and Brave Space
I began my career in social services in 1995, working with children, youth, and families often labeled as “at-risk”—many of whom were impacted by substance use, poverty, child abuse, and neglect. Over time, my commitment to equity and justice led me to the field of social work, where I continue to center the person-in-environment perspective and actively support antiracist policies, ideas, and actions.
This work is grounded in an acknowledgment that we live and practice on the stolen lands of Indigenous peoples, and that much of the wealth and infrastructure of this nation was built through the unpaid labor and enduring suffering of enslaved Africans. I honor these histories and their ongoing impact as part of my commitment to justice, healing, and collective liberation.
I am deeply committed to self-awareness and reflective practice, both personally and with those I serve. I walk alongside clients on a healing journey rooted in self-care, resilience, and transformation.
I integrate narrative therapy and other evidence-informed approaches through the lens of intersectionality to remain fully person-centered. My practice pays particular attention to the impacts of trauma and race-based stress on one’s inner world. As appropriate, I incorporate Feminist Theory, Queer Theory, and Liberation Psychology to support healing that honors identity, lived experience, and systemic context.
I welcome all who value peace, healing, and justice to join me in this space—to try, to grow, and to be.

As a Latina therapist, I’m especially passionate about supporting first-generation and BIPOC individuals navigating anxiety, intergenerational trauma, and life transitions. My approach is rooted in meaningful, real conversation, creating a space where you can reflect, heal, and grow.
I primarily work with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, or relationship challenges. Migdalia Villafane or “Dalia” as she prefers to be called believes that the therapeutic relationship is to assist individuals through therapy, changing the individuals’ lives for the better. Because this relationship is so essential, she believes it is important that she provides a safe, open and non-judgmental atmosphere where an individual can feel at ease. She knows that no single approach is the right one for every individual, so, she utilizes a range of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions Focused, Family Systems, as well as mindfulness training. Her educational background includes an MSW from the University of Southern California and she is licensed in the state of California as an LCSW.

Working in these settings has allowed me to fine tune my clinical skill set across a variety of clients from all walks of life.
I’ve studied and practiced many methods. I like to be eclectic and work with you with what’s needed to get you back on track and feeling your best. I was a teacher for many years, then went for my masters in social work. Life has many twists and turns. Sometimes we can feel off balance or are suffering from depression or anxiety. We’ve all had our ups and downs and getting back on track and feeling our best is a goal I enjoy helping people achieve to live the life they want. Are your coping skills no longer working? Hello and welcome to Careful Heart Counseling Services.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe healing happens when people feel seen, supported, and safe enough to be honest about what they’re carrying.
My practice focuses on children, adolescents, and working and caregiving women navigating the demands of work, family, relationships, and life.
I work with youth ages 5–18, helping them develop emotional awareness, healthy coping skills, communication, and behavioral strategies while creating a safe space for them to express what they may not always have the words to say. I also support parents and caregivers who are trying to balance work, family, relationships, and their own wellbeing. Because supporting a child often means supporting the people caring for them, I believe in working collaboratively with families to strengthen connection, communication, and understanding.
With more than eight years of clinical experience and 15 years serving Sacramento County’s community-based mental health and social service systems, I bring both clinical expertise and a heart centered approach to my work.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I received my master's from California State University of Long Beach. I have over 5 years working in outpatient and inpatient medical settings. I have worked as medical and mental health social worker. I have experienced working with adults, older adults dealing with depression, anxiety, substance use, life changes and other challenges.
I began working in mental health 23 years ago and have worked in community-based therapy, lockdown facilities, in-home therapy, and different schools. I have found over time that the most rewarding factor of doing this work is giving people comfort and support, not only solutions. No matter what type of therapy the client prefers, the environment is based individually on the client. I do not press the pace of the session. Normally, there's a check, but other than that, it depends on the pace the client feels comfortable with for that session.

The majority of her practice focuses on managing symptoms of depression and anxiety, and learning skills to improve emotion regulation. In my free time I love spending time with my family. When I need some alone time I spend time with our dog, read a book, or listen to a podcast, probably something on mental health.
Hello, I'm Gino Memoli, a licensed therapist dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families through personalized therapy sessions. If you're in your 40s or 50s and feel like you no longer recognize yourself, you're not imagining it. Anxiety that seems to come out of nowhere, a shorter fuse, brain fog, poor sleep, low mood, and feeling like you've lost your spark are all common in perimenopause and menopause. Too often, women are told it's "just stress" or that they should push through.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 25 years of experience and a Certified Menopause Coach. I specialize in working with women in midlife who are navigating the emotional and mental health side of this transition, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD symptoms that often surface or intensify during these years.
In our work together, you'll have a space where your experience is taken seriously. I'll help you understand what's happening, build practical tools for managing mood, stress, and focus, and reconnect with who you are and what you want from this next chapter. I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches and tailor them to you.
Midlife can be more than something to get through. With the right support, it can be a time of clarity, confidence, and renewal. I'd be honored to help you thrive in it.
I am very pleased to meet you. Before coming here and seeing my profile, you may have struggled alone for a long time, unable to easily share your personal issues with anyone, or perhaps you did share, but felt misunderstood or not fully supported. With my expertise, I am confident in working together with you to resolve your worries or challenges. I will listen to your unique history and problems with curiosity and respect, and I will do my utmost as a counselor in collaboration with you.

Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel seen, supported, and able to show up as you are. I bring warmth, compassion, and genuine respect for each person’s story, while helping clients work toward greater clarity, healing, and growth. My approach is collaborative and personalized, with care that honors your experiences, values, and the unique path that has shaped who you are.
You may be at an inflection point—a place where something has changed, something that used to work no longer does, or you know you’re ready for something different but aren’t yet sure what comes next.
I work especially well with adults who are used to carrying a lot, taking care of others, or pushing through difficult situations and have reached a point where their usual way of coping no longer feels sustainable.
My approach combines thoughtful exploration with practical direction. We take the time to understand what is happening and why, while also keeping sight of what you want to be different. The goal is therapy with insight and movement—understanding yourself more clearly and using that understanding to make meaningful changes in your life.
I think of therapy as part detective work, part puzzle: laying out the pieces of a life and tracing the threads between things that never seemed connected until you see them side by side. I believe a good clinician is a moldable one, someone who adapts to the person in front of them rather than fitting people into a fixed approach. My work is collaborative, insight-oriented, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on yourself. Together, we explore the patterns, stories, and relational blueprints that shaped how you see yourself and the world, and we work to rewrite the ones that no longer serve you.
I work with individuals and couples across the lifespan, and I am proudly affirming of the LGBTQIA+, kink, and BDSM communities. I specialize in trauma, identity, depression, anxiety, relationships, and sexual health, and I bring the same nonjudgmental, culturally humble approach to every client I see. I also offer faith-integrated counseling for those who wish to bring spirituality into their healing.
Whether you arrive ready to dive in or full of resistance, I'll meet you where you are. I am bilingual and bicultural, and I welcome clients who move between both languages and worlds.

I consider myself to be bicultural. Having been raised as a first-generation American in a Latin family, I can identify with the mentality of someone living within two "worlds". Transitioning from one culture to another with seemingly different values, beliefs and language. I can easily understand the struggle that maintaining, and existing in both, can sometimes be. I've come to perceive and appreciate it as the gift of having a "bridge" that allows connection to, and understanding of, different aspects of people and life.
My education has a foundation in Clinical Psychology, woven with holistic transpersonal themes, the connection between mind, body, and spirit, and just plain down-to-earth common sense. Always keeping in mind the client's personal beliefs and values.
