I am a Marriage Family Therapist helping people conceptualize their current and ongoing challenges. My specialty is empowering individuals, families, and groups, to prevent and alleviate crisis, change, or stress. I apply a strength-based therapeutic approach that enables individuals to function more effectively to experience a healthier and more satisfying state of well-being.
Nicole has an interactive strength-based therapeutic approach and practices relational psychotherapy by assisting individuals to conceptualize their own attachment style, gain insight, and discover other opportunities to experience a satisfying quality of life.
I focus on implementing a multi-faceted approach to the treatment process. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help recognize when thoughts are troublesome and modify problematic patterns of behavior. I also incorporate Psychodynamic and Mindfulness therapy to help work towards acceptance by managing feelings and emotions. Solution-Focused Therapy may also be implemented along with a client-centered approach in which one can expect to expand insight and self-awareness, strengthen self-worth and improve overall self-reliance.
