LCSW, 11 years of experience
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker born, raised, and based in the Los Angeles, CA area. I obtained a Bachelor's degree in both Psychology and Sociology from Loyola Marymount University, as well as a Master of Social Work degree with an emphasis in Mental Health from the University of Southern California. I support and treat individuals with mental health challenges.
In our first session together, we will begin with brief introductions, and then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. Questions will be asked to better understand how various factors (biological, psychological, social) impact your mental health and overall functioning. We will collaboratively create a tailored plan to work through in follow up sessions.
Clients of all ages and cultural backgrounds have shared that they experience a sense of comfort and safety as we work together. I am able to maintain warmth and compassion, while challenging my clients through a process that is not always comfortable.
I have over 11 years of clinical experience providing therapy to clients across the lifespan. I have the most success working with individuals ranging from teen to the aging population, in areas including but not limited to anxiety and depression management, post-traumatic stress, self esteem issues, and difficulty adjusting to life transitions.
