Life can lead us down some pretty confusing paths sometimes, leaving us feeling crazy, unsettled, and totally lost. You don't have to feel like this forever. I work with individuals, couples, and teens who are really going through it - anxiety, panic and stress, relationship issues, PTSD, and unresolved issues that continue to impact current life. Many of my clients are insightful, curious, growth-oriented people who are seeking meaning and a more fulfilling relationships. My focus is on helping you to come to a deeper sense of meaning on all that is weighing you down and freeing up whatever it is that seems to be stuck. I cultivate a warm, nurturing presence so that my clients can feel firmly held and supported. My areas of focus include: managing anxiety, depression, stress-related conditions, life transitions, trans-generational trauma, cultural mistreatment, career/academic issues, authentic self expression, conscious relationship, transformation of life, relational trauma, body image issues. My work focuses on fostering in clients a mindful presence, attuned connection, conscious communication, and a path of deep intimacy.
My goal is to help integrate your experiences on a soul-level, coming back to Self, and returning to the greater community with a sense of safety and trust in relationship. More than anything else, good therapy requires a strong relationship between the client and the practitioner. Selecting the right therapist can be a daunting task. Whatever you are struggling with, please don't hesitate to reach out via email or phone so we can address your concerns and get you started on the path to a more open and fulfilling life. It can be hard work. It can be fun. It can certainly be surprising. It may even be the start of something new. The first few sessions will mainly be focusing on gathering as much information about the issue(s) as possible, sometimes from me taking a more direct lead. As sessions unfold we follow the patterns and work collaboratively together to work towards what you feel will be the most healing.
My expertise includes exploring how various parts of your life make up your identity. I am dedicated to helping others navigate the intersectionality of their identities with respect.
