Ijeoma Nwokoro
My name is Ijeoma Nwokoro, and I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over two and a half years of experience. In my practice, I primarily work with adults managing ADHD, anxiety, and depression. I believe in a collaborative approach, working closely with each patient to identify the best strategies for managing their symptoms.
What sets my approach apart is the balance I create between evidence‑based medication management and compassionate, collaborative care.
I encourage the use of a combined model of medication management and therapy to support meaningful progress. My goal is always to ensure that each patient experiences the best possible response to treatment and feels supported throughout their mental health journey.
First session
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to seek help. I’ll ask questions about your medical history, current concerns, and goals so I can get a clear understanding of your needs. Together, we’ll explore treatment options, including whether medication may be helpful, and create a plan that feels comfortable and realistic for you. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and confident about the next steps in your care.
Strengths
What sets my approach apart is the balance I create between evidence‑based medication management and compassionate, collaborative care. I take time to listen and understand each person’s unique challenges, tailoring treatment plans to fit their lifestyle and goals. My patients often share that they appreciate feeling truly heard, supported, and involved in decisions about their care. I strive not only to reduce symptoms but also to help clients build the tools and confidence they need to thrive in daily life.
Ideal clients
I am best positioned to serve adults who are navigating challenges with ADHD, anxiety, schizophrenia, PTSD, OCD, and depression. Many of my clients are seeking practical strategies to manage daily stressors, improve focus, and gain a better sense of balance in their lives. They are often motivated to find real solutions and are open to combining medication management with therapy to achieve lasting results. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful progress toward your mental health goals.
