(she/her)
I am La Crystal L. Fuller, a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP). I have a deep passion for guiding individuals toward mental well-being by using my extensive experience in advanced nursing practice to identify and address the root causes of mental health challenges. My holistic approach considers factors like biochemical individuality, genetics, nutrition, gut health, and lifestyle choices as part of my diagnostic and treatment plans. I blend conventional psychiatry with holistic, alternative, and complementary methods to treat the mind, body, and spirit through personalized care. I specialize in a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and schizophrenia. I also have expertise in trauma-related disorders, work-related mood and anxiety issues, grief, and crisis stabilization. In women’s health, I focus on conditions such as premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), perinatal mood disorders, and hormone replacement therapy. Additionally, I have worked extensively with individuals and couples experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, and grief related to infertility. Creating a safe, non-judgmental, and nurturing environment is central to my practice. I pride myself on being an active listener who encourages open dialogue, ensuring that my clients feel heard and respected. I am dedicated to advocating for my clients’ well-being and tailoring evidence-based interventions to meet their unique needs.
In your first session with me, we’ll start by getting to know each other. I’ll ask about your current concerns, your personal and medical history, and what you hope to achieve through our work together. This helps me understand the full picture of your mental and physical health. I want you to feel comfortable and heard, so the conversation will be open and non-judgmental. We’ll talk about any past treatments or medications you’ve tried and discuss your goals for therapy or medication management. By the end of the session, we’ll work together to create a personalized plan that fits your needs, whether that involves therapy, medication, lifestyle changes, or a combination of approaches. My goal is to build a supportive partnership with you from the very beginning, so you feel empowered and confident moving forward.
What sets my therapeutic approach apart is my commitment to treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—rather than just focusing on symptoms. I blend traditional psychiatric care with holistic and complementary methods, incorporating factors like genetics, nutrition, and lifestyle into personalized treatment plans. I prioritize creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard and understood. My approach is collaborative; I work closely with each client to tailor evidence-based interventions that align with their unique needs and goals. Clients often tell me that this integrated, compassionate approach helps them feel more empowered and balanced, leading to lasting improvements in their mental health and overall well-being.
I am best positioned to serve individuals who are ready to take an active role in their mental health journey and are looking for compassionate, personalized care. Whether you’re dealing with depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma, or challenges related to women’s health like PMDD or perinatal mood disorders, I’m here to help. If you value a holistic approach that considers your unique biology, lifestyle, and emotional well-being—and if you want a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your feelings and goals—you’ll find that my practice supports you every step of the way. I work well with clients who are open to exploring both conventional and complementary treatments and who want to build lasting strategies for mental wellness, stress management, and overall balance in their lives. If you’re looking for a collaborative partnership to help you understand yourself better and move toward meaningful change, I’m ready to support you.
Motivational Interviewing
I use something called motivational interviewing. This means I want to understand how patients feel about medication and what their goals are. Instead of just telling them what to do, I’ll listen to their thoughts and concerns, and together we’ll explore what might work best. I’ll support them in making choices that fit their life, and if they are unsure, we can try small steps to help them feel more comfortable. This is an ongoing conversation—I’ll check in regularly and adjust medications based on how they are feeling and what they want. My goal is to work with my patients as a partner, so they feel confident and motivated in managing their mental health.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
When we work together on your medication, I also use mindfulness to help you stay aware of how my patient is feeling—both physically and emotionally. Mindfulness means paying close attention to the body and mind in the present moment, without judgment. This helps the patient notice things like side effects, changes in mood, or how well the medication is working. Being mindful can also reduce stress and helps the patient feel more in control. By practicing mindfulness, one can give clearer feedback about the treatment, and we can adjust medications in a way that best supports the patient's health and well-being.

Crystal was amazing from the start of our session. She listened with empathy, made me feel so comfortable and didnt rush through our session, which was opposite of the experiences I have had with other providers in the past. I will definitely be seeing her again.

Crystal ALWAYS listens to my problems and works hard, with warmth, to find a solution. She is big on evaluating how the medications are affecting my state and always wants to be sure of the changes she makes. Love her.
