Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) in California. I have experience working with people of all ages and stages of life. I believe you are the expert in your life. The answer is within you and sometimes, we need someone to help us get it out. You are stronger than you know. Life can be difficult, but you are not a victim you are a VICTOR!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with children, adults and older adults I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with people. No matter what stage of your life you are in. My clients are eager to improve but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed, and anxious about their careers.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

Your faith is important. Christian Counseling supports people just like you to heal and grow emotionally and spiritually.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) is an action-oriented approach to psychotherapy that stems from traditional behavior therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. Clients learn to stop avoiding, denying, and struggling with their inner emotions and, instead, accept that these deeper feelings are appropriate responses to certain situations that should not prevent them from moving forward in their lives.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is based on several core principles, including: Problems are based, in part, on faulty or unhelpful ways of thinking. Problems are based, in part, on learned patterns of unhelpful behavior. People suffering from psychological problems can learn better ways of coping with them, thereby relieving their symptoms and becoming more effective in their lives.

Couples Counseling

Couples therapy can address a wide range of relationship issues, including recurring conflicts, feelings of disconnection, an affair, issues related to sex, or difficulties due to external stressors. If you are having relationship difficulties, you can seek couples therapy to help rebuild your relationship.

Psychoeducation

The goal of psychoeducation is to help the client understand and cope with their diagnoses as well as improve treatment adherence, as clients who understand their treatment are better able to follow through on recommendations.
