I’m a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who focuses on helping individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or simply not like themselves. I work especially well with women and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Whether you’re dealing with stress, burnout, or trying to make sense of changes in your mood, energy, or motivation, I provide a space where you can feel heard and supported without judgment. My approach is practical, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel better—not just in the long term, but in your day to day life. I take time to understand what’s really going on and work with you to create a plan that feels realistic and manageable. I also support women experiencing hormonal and life-stage changes, including symptoms that may be related to perimenopause or menopause. While I don’t prescribe hormone therapy, I help you understand what may be happening and guide you on how to advocate for yourself with your primary care provider. Clients often describe me as easy to talk to, direct, and supportive. My goal is to help you feel more in control, more confident, and more like yourself again.
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what’s been going on in a way that feels comfortable for you. We’ll go over your current concerns, your history, and what you’ve been experiencing day to day. This may include your mood, stress levels, sleep, focus, relationships, and anything else that feels important. You don’t need to prepare anything special just come as you are. I’ll ask questions to better understand the full picture, but this is not an interrogation. It’s a conversation. You’re always free to share at your own pace. We’ll also talk about what you’re hoping to improve and what hasn’t worked in the past. From there, we’ll create a plan together. This may include medication, lifestyle adjustments, therapy referrals, or a combination depending on your needs and preferences. There will be time for you to ask questions, express concerns, and make sure you feel comfortable moving forward. My goal is for you to leave your first visit feeling heard, understood, and with a clear sense of next steps.
My greatest strength is my ability to connect with people in a way that feels natural, supportive, and real. Clients often tell me they feel comfortable opening up because I listen without judgment and meet them where they are. I work best with individuals who are dealing with everyday mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, stress, and feeling overwhelmed by life transitions. I have a practical, straightforward approach and focus on helping you feel better in your day to day life not just managing symptoms, but improving how you function, think, and feel overall. I’m especially good at helping women navigate life changes, relationship concerns, and the emotional impact of stress, burnout, and hormonal shifts. I also take time to educate my clients so they better understand what’s going on with their mental and physical health, which helps them feel more in control. My approach is collaborative. I don’t just tell you what to do we work together to find what actually works for you. Whether it’s medication, lifestyle adjustments, or additional support, my goal is to create a plan that feels realistic and sustainable. Above all, I aim to provide care that is approachable, supportive, and focused on helping you feel like yourself again.
I work best with adults and young adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, or feeling overwhelmed by life. Many of my clients are high-functioning but struggling internally with motivation, focus, or emotional balance. I especially enjoy working with women who are navigating relationship challenges, dating, burnout, and life transitions. I also support individuals who are trying to better understand changes in their mood, energy, or overall well being. My ideal clients are open to support, looking for practical solutions, and ready to make meaningful changes in their day to day life. They may not have everything figured out, but they are willing to take steps toward feeling better.
Supportive
I use a supportive approach that focuses on helping you feel heard, understood, and more in control of what you’re experiencing. During our sessions, we talk through what’s going on in your day to day life and identify practical ways to manage stress, improve mood, and build healthier coping patterns. I provide guidance, education, and feedback in a way that feels conversational and realistic not overly clinical. My goal is to help you better understand what you’re going through and give you tools you can actually use outside of sessions.
Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Suicide Prevention (CBT-SP)
I also incorporate elements of cognitive behavioral therapy to help identify patterns in thinking and behavior that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, or low mood. Together, we work on developing more balanced thoughts and practical strategies to improve how you feel and function.

Negresha is wonderful. She was compassionate, knowledgeable, and conducted a very thorough assessment. Her thoughtful questions made me feel genuinely heard and validated, and she approached everything with a strong sense of wellness and care. She clearly explained my options, helped me understand what was going on, and truly met me where I was. I’m grateful for her support and highly recommend her.

Negresha was SUPER helpful. She took the time to ask important questions and didn't rush into diagnosing me like my previous dr. She made me feel heard, which helped a lot. Also, I really appreciate the time she takes to explain about what each diagnosis means as well as about each medication and their side effects. Looking forward to my next appointment.
