I am a doctoral-prepared nurse practitioner with dual board certification: Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certificate. I have over 23 years of extensive nursing experience in critical care, behavioral health, and addiction. As a Psychiatric Mental health Nurse Practitioner I specialize in generalized anxiety disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Insomnia, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, and other mental health disorders.
On our first session, we will briefly acquaint ourselves with each other and undergo a brief introduction. Then I will listen attentively to the struggles that you are encountering to design a personalized plan of care through collaboration with you. The overall goal from each session including the first one is to leave feeling validated, relieved, and with some skills that can help shape your mindset.
My greatest strengths as a provider are my extensive in and out field experience helping my patients with their mental health. I employ not only my skills learned as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner but also my personal skills of empathy which can go a long way to make a patient feel heard and understood.
I am best positioned to serve clients who experience Generalized anxiety disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Insomnia, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, or other various psychotic disorders. My clients may present with symptoms from the disorders listed above and require tools to help better their mental state.

I don’t really know where to start except to express how I feel. I’m probably like three minutes out of my appointment with her I feel more fulfilled and understood from a psychiatrist than I have since I’ve started seeing them. She has a very warm, considerate and compassionate approach to her job. I got what I needed, and I would recommend her to other people.
