5 years of experience

I'm. Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I've been practicing for at least 5 years. I earned my Master's of Science with distinction in Counseling with an emphasis on marriage, family, and child counseling from California State University Fresno. I help folks manage challenging relationships, emotions, thoughts, and experiences. I am very comfortable including spouses and romantic partners in sessions.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

What makes therapy different with me is I strongly emphasize what you determine is meaningful in your life. Sometimes that's where therapy starts if you don't know. And from there we can approach the challenges you're seeking therapy to address.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I m most suited to serve folks who are open to engaging in a type of perspective on therapy or their internal experiences that they've not had before. I've had great success with people who've tried therapy before and found it wasn't right for them.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I've predominately used ACT in my work since beginning my career. I've found it to be especially helpful with many conditions. In summary, treatment with this method seeks to increase flexibility and resilience regarding challenging life experiences whether they be trauma, relationships, emotions, or thoughts.
