New to Grow
As a first-generation Latina and the first in my family to graduate from college and earn a professional degree, I understand what it means to overcome barriers, feel pressure to succeed, and navigate two different worlds. I’m a relatable, down-to-earth, driven therapist who brings both lived experience and clinical expertise to our work together. My passion lies in supporting young women—especially college students and first-generation individuals—who are facing transitions, grief, anxiety, depression, or relationship issues. Whether you're adjusting to life on campus, feeling overwhelmed by expectations, or struggling to find your place, I offer a space where you can feel seen, understood, and supported.
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to share what’s bringing you in. We’ll talk about your goals, go over confidentiality, and start exploring what you want out of therapy. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—we’ll go at your pace. The focus is on creating a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood.
I help clients reach their goals by creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can explore what’s holding them back and build practical tools for change. Using approaches like CBT and strength-based strategies, I work collaboratively to set realistic goals, challenge unhelpful patterns, and celebrate progress along the way. My style is warm, direct, and culturally grounded—I’m here to support you every step of the way.
I lead with empathy, honesty, and a deep belief in your potential. I’m a good listener who shows up fully invested in your growth and committed to helping you build a life that feels whole and aligned with your values. I use culturally responsive, evidence-based approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, and strengths-based work, always tailored to your unique story and goals.
