My name is Yvette Zamudio and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with eight years of experience helping individuals navigate life challenges and discover their own path to healing and growth. I work with clients to explore life stressors and develop practical tools for managing emotional distress, improve relationships, and achieve a more balanced self-perception. My journey to clinical work was shaped by my curiosity for the human experience as well as a natural desire to help others. This led me to pursue a degree in psychology and later a Master's in Social Work, developing my clinical skills through practice and licensure attainment.
Our first session will focus on getting to know you, building connections, and exploring your needs. Over time, we will work together to establish treatment goals allowing us to work towards healthy change and track progress along the way.
As your therapist, my goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. My style is warm, supportive, and respectful of your person while empowering honest reflection and growth.
My clinical experience and focus span from working with adults to older adults seeking support in managing a range of emotional, mental, and behavioral challenges. I work with clients who may be dealing with issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, self-esteem/identity, life transitions, grief, and loss.

i would choose almost every therapy style except challenging if i could, Yvette has been a great resource for understanding myself in a different way and has helped get at root causes of issues I have. She takes every appointment as a new time to talk to me and takes me as I am. I would definitely recommend Yvette to other friends/
