About me

I’m Sahebjit “TJ” Singh, a therapist who doesn’t just listen, I help you climb out of the abyss. I walk beside you into the parts of yourself you’ve buried, avoided, or never had words for, and help you make sense of them. My work blends deep insight with real-world grit, using approaches like IFS, psychodynamic, and existential therapy to go beneath surface symptoms and uncover what’s actually driving your pain. I show up with presence, authenticity, and a fierce belief that healing is possible, even when you don’t feel it yet. My approach is deep relational trauma and identity work. We go into the depths of who you are and patterns that keep you stagnating. I support my clients in confronting their demons, and forging them into allies that become your strengths. Schedule a session and see for yourself. IMPORTANT TO CONSIDER: I’m not the soft and gentle type. I’m direct. I challenge. I interrupt when needed. And I call things out when I see them. My style is rooted in ruthless compassion. Ruthless because I won’t shy away from the hard truths. Compassion because I care deeply about the people I work with. I put my heart and soul into this work, and I show up fully for every client. But I’m not here to enable patterns or let you stay stuck. If you’re looking for a therapist who will push you, hold you accountable, and walk with you through the discomfort of real change, then we might be a strong fit. If you’re not used to being challenged in therapy, my approach can feel intense. And that’s okay. What matters most is whether you’re ready to do the work. Take a moment to reflect on that before reaching out.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a real conversation, not an interrogation, not a script. I'm not going to sit and ask you a bunch of questions from a packet of forms and call it a day. I’ll ask about what brought you in, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. We’ll go at your pace, and there’s no pressure to spill everything at once. My goal is to create a space where you can breathe, be honest, and start feeling what it’s like to not have to carry it all alone. You’ll get a sense of how I work, and more importantly, whether it feels like a good fit for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength as a therapist is that I don’t hide behind clinical masks or jargon. I bring my full, human self into the room. I’ve lived through chaos, loss, and trauma, and I know what it means to rebuild from the rubble. That lived experience, combined with years of clinical training, allows me to meet clients in the depths without flinching. I can hold heavy stories with steady hands, track emotional patterns like a detective, and challenge bullshit in a way that still feels safe and respectful. I’m fiercely intuitive, deeply curious, and unafraid to go where most won’t, into the shadow, the stuckness, and the parts of you you’ve been afraid to face. I'm the therapist that's sits in the pain with you and says "you're going to be okay" I don’t just help clients heal; I help them transform. If you’re looking for a therapist who will show up fully, challenge you with care, and walk beside you through the fire without letting go, I’m that therapist.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with people who’ve learned to carry a lot, quietly. Maybe you’re the one who keeps it together for everyone else, who’s saying I'm fine on the outside but decaying or lost on the inside. Maybe you’ve been through some dark moments, and even though you’ve survived, parts of you still feel stuck in survival mode. You might not even know exactly what you need, just that you’re ready for something real. I’m not the kind of therapist who nods and takes notes while you unravel alone. I’m in it with you, fully, humanly, relentlessly. We’ll untangle the mess, find the meaning, and build a way forward that actually feels like you. If you’re looking for a space where you can unmask yourself without judgment, where all of you is welcome, you’ve just found it.

My treatment methods

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

In our work together, I use an Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach, which is really just a way of understanding that we all have different parts of ourselves like the inner critic, the caretaker, the one that wants to give up, or the one that keeps pushing through. Each part has its own story and reason for being there, even the ones that feel heavy or hard to face. Together, we’ll get to know these parts with compassion, not judgment, so you can feel more in control, more connected to yourself, and start to heal from the inside out.

Existential

We’ll explore the big questions meaning, freedom, identity, and what really matters to you. I won’t give you pre-packaged answers, but I’ll walk with you through the uncertainty, the anxiety, and the search for purpose because sometimes the most honest work begins where certainty ends.

Jungian

I work with the deeper layers of the psyche that are around the dreams, symbols, inner figures, and unconscious patterns that influence your life in ways you might not even realize. We’ll explore these parts to bring shadow into light and help you connect with your deeper Self, not just the persona you show the world.

Strength-Based

Instead of focusing only on what's wrong, I focus on what's right like your resilience, your creativity, your ability to survive. Even when things feel broken, there are parts of you that never stopped trying. We’ll work together to build from those places.

Narrative

I see therapy as a space where we get to explore the story of your life, not just the one you’ve been told, but the one you want to tell moving forward. We’ll look at how past experiences, culture, and relationships have shaped your narrative, and begin rewriting it in a way that feels more true, empowering, and aligned with who you are becoming.

Which I could also put solution oriented; he was very warm and direct and humorous and I felt like we empathized with each other on a human-to-human basis.

Just from reading TJ’s profile I thought his style would be a good fit for me. I needed someone who was gonna tell me straight up what it is and he did just that. No BS no sugar coating just a real genuine opinion of who I am and what I need to do to make the changes I want to make.
