In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Taking the first step toward getting help can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to do it alone. My goal is to make your first appointment a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can simply be yourself. During our first session, I'll take the time to get to know you—not just your symptoms, but your story. I'll listen carefully to your concerns, answer your questions, and work with you to understand what you've been experiencing. There is no pressure, no criticism, and no judgment. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma, or simply feel like something isn't quite right, you'll be treated with compassion, respect, and genuine care. Together, we'll develop a personalized treatment plan that fits your goals and helps you move toward feeling like yourself again. You deserve to feel heard. You deserve to feel understood. I'm here to help you take that first step toward healing, one conversation at a time.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Compassion, honesty and putting the clients' interest first. I also offer a sense of humor to my clients. I am always very responsive to messages, and offer very convenient hours, as well as emergency trouble shooting if client has an issue.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

No such thing as an ideal client. I serve all ages, and I am nonjudgemental and want to help as many clients as possible. Everyone that comes before me is a valid person who is seeking some solution with their problems. I am honored to help in anyway I can. I guide, educate, and empower my clients, regardless of gender, sexuality, race, or political beliefs.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are deeply connected. Sometimes, negative thought patterns can keep us feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety, depression, stress, or self-doubt. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach that helps you recognize these patterns and replace them with healthier, more balanced ways of thinking. During CBT, we'll work together to identify unhelpful beliefs, challenge negative thinking, and develop practical coping strategies you can use in everyday life. You'll learn skills to better manage anxiety, improve your mood, increase confidence, and respond to life's challenges with greater resilience. CBT is highly effective for treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, panic attacks, insomnia, and many other mental health conditions. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful, lasting changes. Together, we'll build the tools you need to improve your mental health, strengthen your confidence, and create a more fulfilling, balanced life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

If you often feel overwhelmed by intense emotions, struggle with relationships, or find yourself reacting impulsively, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) can help. DBT is an evidence-based treatment that teaches practical skills to manage emotions, reduce stress, and respond to life's challenges in healthier ways. In our sessions, you'll learn techniques to regulate difficult emotions, tolerate distress without becoming overwhelmed, improve communication and relationships, and become more mindful of your thoughts and feelings. Rather than simply talking about problems, DBT focuses on giving you real-life tools that you can use every day. Whether you're living with anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, ADHD, or difficulty managing emotions, DBT can help you feel more in control, more confident, and better equipped to navigate life's ups and downs. Together, we'll work toward creating lasting changes that improve your emotional well-being and overall quality of life.

Psychodynamic

Sometimes the challenges we face today are shaped by experiences we may not fully recognize or understand. Psychodynamic Therapy helps uncover the deeper emotional patterns, past experiences, and unconscious beliefs that influence how you think, feel, and relate to others. In our sessions, we'll explore your life story, relationships, and emotional experiences in a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment. By gaining insight into the underlying causes of anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, or recurring patterns, you can begin to break free from them and develop healthier ways of coping. Psychodynamic therapy isn't just about talking about the past—it's about understanding how the past affects the present so you can move forward with greater self-awareness, emotional freedom, and resilience. Together, we'll work toward helping you build healthier relationships, improve self-esteem, and create lasting, meaningful change. Healing begins with understanding yourself, and you don't have to take that journey alone.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

It's natural to want to avoid painful thoughts and emotions, but sometimes the harder we fight them, the more they take over. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an evidence-based approach that helps you develop a healthier relationship with difficult thoughts and feelings so they no longer control your life. In our sessions, you'll learn how to accept emotions without being overwhelmed by them, become more present through mindfulness, and reduce the impact of self-critical or anxious thoughts. Rather than trying to eliminate uncomfortable feelings, ACT teaches you how to respond to them with flexibility while staying focused on what truly matters to you. Together, we'll identify your personal values and create practical steps toward living a meaningful, fulfilling life—even when challenges arise. ACT has been shown to be effective for anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, chronic pain, OCD, and many other mental health concerns. My goal is to provide a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where you can build resilience, increase psychological flexibility, and move toward the life you want to live. You don't have to wait until life feels perfect to begin living it with purpose.
