My name is Jose Navarro, but my family and friends call me "Joe." I am a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) who uses a person-centered, trauma-informed approach with my clients. I love to work with individuals facing life stressors, anxiety, depression, relational problems, and trauma work, to name a few. I have experience working in community-based agency settings and private therapy practice. I have had the opportunity to work with individuals from all age ranges and backgrounds experiencing a multitude of life stressors and mental health concerns.
In each session including the very first one, my priority is creating a safe, secure, and non-judgmental space where you feel heard. Following a brief introduction, our initial session is dedicated to establishing a strong therapeutic bond and understanding your unique needs. Together, we'll navigate your therapeutic journey with empathy and trust, ensuring a positive and natural progression towards your goals.
I am easy to speak to and communicate with. I enjoy meeting new people and allowing my clients to work at their own pace. I focus on client safety and security and reserve personal preference so your session is judgment-free.
I enjoy working with adult clients of all ages. I have experience working with individuals with anxiety and mood conditions, trauma exposure, relational problems, phase-of-life concerns, and personality disorders.
I believe everyone should feel safe and secure during their therapeutic journey. That's why I use trauma-informed care as my framework treatment method in all the work I perform with my clients.
