My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice for 11 years. It has helped my clients challenge their negative thought patterns, manage their feelings of depression and anxiety, and develop better adjustment to their chronic illness. I will utilize CBT to recognize how your current thoughts, feelings and behaviors influence each other. I will then utilize that knowledge to help change your negative thought patterns, which will help you lead a less depressed and anxious life.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I’ve been utilizing Person-Centered Therapy in my practice for 11 years. It is a non-directive form of talk therapy and emphasizes a client’s-directed exploration of their thoughts and feelings in a safe, supportive environment. I will utilize Person-Centered Therapy to build a therapeutic relationship of empathy, acceptance, and genuineness with you. I will then utilize that knowledge to help you identify your full potential and achieve your personal growth.
