Hi! I am Dr. Hannah Karolewicz, Ph.D, M.S., LMHC, LPC, LPCC, a licensed therapist in Arizona, California, and Florida Do you feel like you are stuck and do not have the tools or the language to describe how you are feeling? Is it hard to advocate for yourself and prioritize your needs? I help young adults improve their emotional intelligence, maturity, and well-being. Together, we will explore your childhood and how it has impacted you. Whether you are dealing with the above, facing significant life changes or transitions, or managing depression, anxiety, or burnout symptoms, we can overcome them with evidence-based techniques. I'm also a therapist specializing in sexual health, sexuality, intimacy, and curiosity. My practice focuses on working with individuals navigating the parts of intimacy that are hardest to talk about either with friends, family, or even other therapists. My approach is direct, warm, and curious. I believe good sex therapy should feel like a conversation with someone who's genuinely on your side, not an interrogation or a lecture. You're here because something isn't quite working — maybe you and your partner want different things or you are unsure of what you truly enjoy, maybe you've realized the way you love or connect doesn't fit the "script" you were handed, or maybe you're still untangling years of messaging that told you sex was something to fear, hide, or feel guilty about. Talking about sex is hard and you don't have to do it alone. Wherever you're starting from, it's okay if you don't have language for it yet. Finding the words is part of our process and you don't need to have it all figured out.
Our first session is a collaborative journey that describes the therapy process, billing, clarify any questions or doubts, and establishes a foundation of trust and rapport. Additionally, we will begin to explore your previous history in therapy and your current goals for treatment. I often work with clients who have never been in therapy, and I pride myself in easing the client's feelings of the unknown in a gentle manner by creating a safe space.
I am experienced in working with ADHD, Anxiety and stress, Autism, Depression, career difficulties and burnout, self-esteem and confidence, relationship issues, and the LGBTQIA+ community. Overall, I would describe my practice as collaborative, humorous, when appropriate, and compassionate. I enjoy exploring your past and understanding how we have gotten to this point in our life. If I had to highlight some on my strengthens, I'd say they are nurturance, authenticity, patience, and curiosity and open minded. I offer services in English and Spanish.
I love working with clients experiencing significant life changes and are having challenges adjusting to new commitments or managing expectations. I also enjoy working with clients who want to heal their inner child while setting boundaries with family members, breaking free from generational traumas, and managing unhealthy family relationships.
I have worked with CBT with multiple clients and found it beneficial

Her solutions are always so helpful. Especially when I can’t seem to find them on my own. I love her input and advice. It makes my day to day so much easier.
