Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California. Are you trying to recover from trauma? Having relationship issues? Struggle with Depression and Anxiety? I am here for you. I have held many different hats through my social work experience allowing my true passions to emerge. I have experience working with individuals with a history of trauma, depression, anxiety, low self esteem, relationship issues, parenting skills, career burnout, and grief. Healing their trauma can heal other parts of their lives as well. My approach to therapy is tailored to the individual. I maintain a realistic approach to therapy and keep it client centered. You are the expert in your life, I am just a bonus to help navigate some of the storm.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will get to know one another. I will ask a lot of questions to get to know you and your presenting problems that have caused you to seek treatment. Together we will come up with goals for treatment. During this session we will talk about agreements and expectations for therapy that both of us will understand and accommodate. I also keep it light and add a little bit of humor to lighten the process.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked in a few different settings in the last several years has definitely built my expertise. I have worked in the Child Welfare and Community mental Health setting understanding the dynamics from the different levels of involvement from these agencies. I have experience with generational trauma, relationship issues, co-parenting, mental health and other issues have made this population my passion. I have a special place in my heart for professionals working in trauma day in an day out because I understand the toll it can take. I have held many leadership roles throughout my career giving me special experience working with various populations and in different capacities. I have worked with Christian organizations for several years assisting me in developing my skills when understanding spiritual healing and the importance of addressing a person's mental health through a spiritual lens as well. I still strive to grow and learn new skills to assist my clients in their healing journey's along the way.
