Hi! My name is Lydia Jordan, LMFT & Diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies. I work with individuals hoping to improve how they feel, think, and act using compassion-focused and trauma-informed CBT, with emphasis on Eating, Mood, and Anxiety disorders. I am also sensitive to Women's Life-Span concerns (including pregnancy & perimenopause) and recovery from Religious Trauma.
My approach is "lovingly direct." Clients can expect consistent collaboration, meeting them where they are, and authentically joining them to improve every aspect of life! Clients report feeling better and improving daily functioning—and if our relationship doesn't work, I’m honored to help connect them with a better fit.
I draw from extensive training, professional and personal experience to hold space for each client's growth.
My practice centers on recovery from eating, mood, and anxiety disorders, emphasizing those who feel unheard or unmet elsewhere. I provide safety, accurate empathy, and unconditional positive regard so clients can progress confidently toward their goals.
