Have you had the thought that something needs to change but not sure or concerned about making a change? If the answer is “YES,” then you are not alone. Change can be uncomfortable but sometimes necessary to find relief in certain areas of your life. My name is Caprisha Moody and I have been providing mental health support for over 10 years. I started with talk therapy to foster youth. I transitioned to behavioral therapy working with children diagnosed with Autism. I have spent a number of years providing talk therapy to children, adult, and families. I like to use a blend of modalities to help people make steps in their journey to change.
Client's can expect to feel uncomfortable the first time if they have not received therapy in the past. The questions in the intake are usually personal and not everyone feels comfortable getting vulnerable. The hope is that with time client's will be more comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings as well as discussing goals for treatment. Client's can take away tools to manage general anxiety, mild depression, and parenting support.
I like to learn your strengths and build off of them. Collaboratively we work together to improve problem areas using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavior Therapy and Mindfulness.
My biggest strength is providing behavioral interventions and exploring ways to manage anxiety
