Hello! I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in California. I received my Master's degree from Walden University and have been practicing for four years. I help teenagers and adults navigate life transitions, manage stress, and improve the quality of their relationships.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

After initial introductions and a brief overview of the services I can provide, we will begin by talking about your expectations, desires, and perhaps initial fears about beginning a therapeutic relationship. I will gather information about your background and what brings you to counseling, and we will work together to develop a plan to address your specific goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a deep thinker and feeler. I have personally experienced the transformative effect of the therapeutic relationship and have dedicated my entire career to meeting people in the darkest times of life to represent empathy and hope. I also find that bringing humor and silliness into sessions can help us connect.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I really enjoy working with individuals who are interested in exploring the deeper parts of themselves and those who are healing from difficult family relationships. I am passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community, those healing from religious trauma, and individuals who are interested in strengthening boundaries with others.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

I've found that utilizing both attachment and family systems theories to understand core feelings of loneliness have helped my clients become empowered to take a more active role in their relationships.

Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT offers a framework to approaching daily living and practical tools that help increase emotional regulation skills and help people relate to others in a more functional manner. I use elements of DBT in many cases as it provides tangible skills to incorporate into daily living.

Trauma Informed Care

As a Certified Trauma Practitioner, my perspective on trauma has allowed clients to more fully understand its impact on their physiological experiences. Learning to regulate the body's alarm system can lead to increased control over triggers and arousal.
