Hi, I’m a psychiatric nurse practitioner who specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. I take a compassionate, evidence-based approach to care and focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship. I work collaboratively with each patient to develop personalized treatment plans that may include medication management, lifestyle changes, and supportive talk therapy. My goal is to create a safe, respectful space where you feel empowered to take meaningful steps toward emotional wellness.
In your first session with me, we will take time to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. I will complete a thorough psychiatric evaluation, which includes asking about your current symptoms, medical and mental health history, lifestyle, and any previous treatment experiences. This helps me better understand your unique needs and concerns. Together, we will explore possible treatment options, which may include therapy, lifestyle recommendations, and medication if appropriate. Some patients choose to start medication that day, while others prefer to take time to think about their options. Every person is different, and my goal is to meet you where you are and move at a pace that feels right for you.
My greatest strength as a provider is creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe, seen, and heard. I take the time to listen and understand your unique experience so we can build a treatment plan that truly fits your needs. I bring both clinical expertise and empathy to our work together, and I’m committed to helping you feel supported, respected, and empowered every step of the way.
I am best positioned to work with adults seeking medication management for anxiety, depression, and mood-related conditions. My approach is practical, collaborative, and focused on helping patients feel better while maintaining stability in their daily lives, including work, relationships, and overall functioning. I work well with individuals who are motivated to understand their symptoms, open to treatment, and interested in long-term improvement rather than quick fixes. Many of my patients are managing anxiety, panic symptoms, or mood instability and are looking for clear guidance, effective medications, and a structured plan. I also support individuals who value a balanced approach that includes medication, lifestyle changes, and, when appropriate, therapy. My goal is to help patients achieve symptom relief, improve functioning, and build sustainable strategies for long-term mental health.
Supportive
I utilize supportive therapy to create a safe, empathetic environment where patients feel heard, validated, and empowered. This approach helps individuals build on their existing strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and maintain emotional stability during times of stress or transition. In my practice, supportive therapy serves as a foundational component of care, especially when working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, or adjustment-related challenges. It allows for collaborative dialogue, fosters resilience, and promotes therapeutic trust, which is essential for long-term mental wellness.
