I am a mental health professional with over 8 years experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults in the mental health field in various settings. I provide individual counseling with minimal to moderate anxiety, depression, and other diagnosis. I am well-versed in crisis counseling and providing care management to individuals and their families supporting in their treatment leading to achieving their goals. I am passionate about providing care for individuals, empathetically giving validation, and highlighting their strength-based skills while processing and reflecting on their symptoms peeling the layers within. I approach counseling from a cognitive behavioral view, systems theory perspective, mindfulness, and solution focused helping individuals with collaboration to be successful in their treatment.

In our first session together, we are going to get to know each other and understand what brought you here. I will create a safe and understanding environment for you to be a great conduit in achieving your treatment goals and create a path towards healing and growth.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Staying present, identifying and practicing strategies that stops rumination, negative thinking, while honoring your limitations, capacity, and needs are important in increasing self-care and being your authentic self.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I have utilized this modality in identifying stuck points that leads to increased in overwhelming feelings (anger, shame, guilt, etc.) supporting clients to get unstuck, process trauma, and create a healthier mindset about yourself, your past, and have better hope for your future.

Strength-Based

I heavily believe that being kind to ourselves is a necessary ingredient in our healing and growth process. I love teaching people in reframing negative self-talk to increase self-worth, self-confidence, and increasing internal validation.
