Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session will be a "get to know you" session where I learn about the reason for coming to therapy. I will ask about living situation, support system, past therapy experience, and your strengths. We all have strengths and I am here to help you learn about yours so you can enhance your life and live it to your fullest.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have the caring nature and problem solving skills that can support you in coping with a variety of situations. Over the years working in healthcare I have handled the many needs of a diverse group of patients (children and young adults) and their families. I care about my clients and utilizing a solution focused approach, empower them to overcome their obstacles.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with clients experiencing anxiety needing support and coping tools to manage their symptoms. Grief and loss is a passion of mine and loss doesn't mean through death. Are you experiencing the loss of a relationship, a job? I am hear to help. I am also a Clinical Supervisor for mental health professionals needing supervision for their clinical hours.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT in my practice to help clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.
