Hello! I'm a Licensed Marriageand Family Therapist. I received my Masters in Counseling Degree from the University of San Francisco, and have worked in the field for 30 years. I love working with people to improve their sense of self and well being. I believe the therapeutic relationship offers a powerful opportunity to grow and expand, in ways that work for each client.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session is about developing rapport and identifying the treatment issues and goals. I look forward to working with you!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel that my greatest strengths as a provider are my many years of experience, my compassion, and my ability to listen without judging. With each client, I bring unconditional positive regard and compassionate presence to each session. I deeply care for others and know that the therapeutic relationship can be a place for growth and expansion.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with clients that are ready to explore their personal issues, and are interested in growth and development. As I therapist, I align myself with each client, to empower and support them on their personal journey toward emotional health and wellness.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I incorporate CBT in almost every session. Our thoughts are powerful and they can be an effective tool to stay emotionally regulated.

Grief Therapy

I have many years of experience as a Hospice Social Worker. I have extensive experience working with clients facing serious and terminal illnesses.

Forensic Psychology

I have experience working as a CPS Social Worker for over twenty years. I was a forensic interviewer and worked with law enforcement and the District Attorney's Office to investigate and prosecute crimes against children and vulnerable adults. I am culturally competent to provide treatment to first responders including members of the military, law enforcement and firefighters.

Humanistic

I provide treatment from a Humanistic perspective, where we work through the human experience together. I deeply care for others, and together, we can build coping skills to get through anything in life.
