Hi! I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) based in California. I see a wide variety of clients and work to find the right medication combination for each on an individual basis.
Having worked with severe mental illness from the beginning of my career and obtaining the majority of my training in that population, I've developed a large understanding of many different medications and disease courses.
I work to help find appropriate medications for adults that may be new to mental health or seasoned experts, those struggling with life transitions, mood disorders, and psychosis.
First session
In the first session we will go over some historical details and then collect more information on current concerns. In order to fully assist the client a full picture of history and current concerns is needed to create a treatment plan that is mutually agreed upon. We will discuss medications that might be helpful given current symptoms you are experiencing.
Strengths

I have worked with minor adjustment disorders through severe schizophrenia and enjoy the entire spectrum.
Ideal clients
I enjoy working with clients to review all of their symptoms and find the right medications to help them in their day-to-day lives. I am experienced with multiple different types of clients, from someone who has never taken a medication before to someone with severe mental illness who has tried everything and feels as if nothing works. I try to find the best combination for you and your specific symptoms.

My experience is in medication management and supportive therapy with psychoeducation. I do not do regular talk therapy.
