Hi, I’m Jessica Vargas LCSW, LISW and I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be honest, understood, and supported without judgment. Life can become overwhelming, whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, stress, major life changes, anxiety, depression, or simply feeling stuck and unsure of what comes next.
My approach is warm, compassionate, and practical. I work collaboratively with each client to understand what is happening beneath the surface while developing realistic tools and strategies that can create meaningful change. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Your experiences, goals, and strengths are unique, and our work together should reflect that.
I work with teens, adults, and couples who may be struggling with emotional challenges, relationship concerns, communication, self-esteem, life transitions, family conflict, stress, or other challenges that are making it difficult to feel like themselves. For couples, I provide a supportive space to improve communication, understand patterns within the relationship, and work toward a healthier connection.
As a therapist, I strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable being yourself—even when things feel messy or difficult. My goal isn’t simply to help you get through a challenging moment, but to help you better understand yourself, build confidence in your ability to cope, and develop skills that continue to serve you beyond therapy.
Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. If you’re ready to make a change, I’m here to help you take that first step.
I have been a Social Worker for 20 years working with people with all types of concerns for their ability to be successful in this life. If you feel sad or are depressed, anxious, angry, misfit or have parenting problems, career challenges, or are transitioning into a new phase of life that has you questioning who you are, let's talk about it. If you have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse I will help you regain your strength to move to a better place.
My counseling style is conversational and interactive. I will help you find the answers that you have to better your life and how you feel about yourself. I believe in treating everyone with kindness, respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines many styles including cognitive-behavioral and motivational interviewing. We will plan treatment to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to look directly in the mirror at yourself and make the changes that will take you to a happier, more fulfilling life. I will support and empower you to take the path of your choice to the goals that you have always had.
Let's talk!
