I have been working with adolescents, teens, and young adults for over 30 years. I enjoying hearing people's stories and finding ways that I can help. People that I tend to work with struggle with feelings of depression, anxiety, and some struggle with symptoms indicative of attention difficulties. Their desire is to discover ways to cope with mood irregularities, strategies to manage anxious feelings, and methods they can use to complete tasks, empower self-motivation, and to get organized. As a therapist who is also a Social Worker, I tend to also offer suggestions for resources in the community.

I am very client oriented and focus my efforts on client goals and ideas of what they think is important during the therapy process. Whether you’re navigating trauma, life transitions, family dynamics, or the particular weight of carrying two cultures at once, I offer a space that is grounded, thoughtful, and deeply human. At the same time, the best description of me is, I am a chameleon. I adapt myself as a clinician to your needs, in order to truly meet you where you are at. Welcome. I help clients navigate midlife and later life transitions. My goal is to help you feel as mentally and emotionally well as possible while moving through these changes with greater ease. I find it deeply rewarding to help clients discover meaning and fulfillment during these stages of their lives. In our sessions, I listen closely and support you as you work through your challenges. I help you gain insight and develop practical strategies, so you feel less anxious and depressed, have more satisfying family relationships, thrive at work or enjoy retirement, and live in alignment with your values. I also understand how disorienting it can feel to navigate change without a clear map, whether that's an empty nest, a career shift, retirement, or the loss of someone important to you. My own life experience and years of practice have taught me that these transitions, while hard, can also open the door to a deeper sense of purpose.

Let's be honest...
Motherhood is incredible, but it's also overwhelming. Somewhere between the school drop-offs, endless to-do lists, work deadlines, laundry piles, mental checklists, and trying to remember the last time you drank your coffee while it was still hot, it's easy to lose yourself.
Maybe you've been telling yourself, "I should be able to handle this."
Maybe you feel guilty for needing a break.
Maybe you're anxious all the time, snapping at the people you love most, or lying awake at night replaying every conversation and worrying about tomorrow.
If any of that sounds familiar, you're in the right place.
I'm Cassidy, a therapist who works with millennial moms who are tired of living in survival mode.
Our generation is doing something really hard. We're trying to parent differently than we were raised. We're breaking cycles, healing old wounds, managing careers, showing up for our families, and somehow still feeling like we're never doing enough.
That's exhausting.
I specialize in helping women navigate anxiety, burnout, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the invisible mental load that so often comes with motherhood. I also have specialized training in addiction and recovery, which means I understand the complex ways substance use can impact individuals, marriages, and families. Whether you're healing from growing up around addiction, supporting a loved one in recovery, questioning your own relationship with alcohol, or simply trying to break unhealthy family patterns, you don't have to face it alone.
I’ve always been interested in understanding people — how life experiences, relationships, stress, and challenges shape the way we cope and move through the world. Over time, I realized I found a lot of meaning in helping people work through obstacles, gain perspective, and feel less stuck in the things weighing them down. I know it can be hard to ask for support, especially when you’ve been trying to manage everything on your own. I want clients to feel comfortable being honest about what they’re facing while also working together to find practical, concrete solutions that help life feel more manageable and move them toward meaningful, lasting change.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and my Master’s degree in Social Work with a clinical focus from Capella University. Over the past 14 years, I have worked with children, teens, adults, couples, and families across in-home, outpatient, and telehealth settings. I’ve supported people through some of the most difficult periods of their lives, including severe anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, family conflict, crisis situations, and overwhelming life stress. Working in a variety of settings and with diverse client needs has taught me how to meet people where they are, adapt to challenging situations, and help clients find realistic ways to move forward.
I see therapy as a place to be real about what’s not working and figure out what needs to change. Some clients come in feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected in relationships, overwhelmed by responsibilities, or frustrated by patterns they can’t seem to break. My role is to help people make sense of what they’re experiencing, develop practical tools that actually fit their lives, and regain a stronger sense of control, stability, and confidence moving forward.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who works with young adults, adults and older adults navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and questions around identity, purpose, and self-worth. My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive, blending CBT, DBT, ACT, Trauma-Informed and compassion-focused work to help clients build insight, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful change aligned with their values.
I aim to create a grounded, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore difficult emotions and patterns without shame. As a therapist with multicultural lived experience, I understand how culture, identity, and life transitions shape emotional well-being, and I bring that awareness into my work.
Clients often describe my style as supportive, direct when needed, and focused on both understanding and action.

Life can become complicated when the strategies that once worked stop working. Whether you're navigating a recent ADHD or AuDHD diagnosis, struggling with burnout, anxiety, depression, or major life changes, it can feel like you're trying to solve a puzzle without all the pieces.
As someone who was diagnosed later in life, I understand both the relief and the disruption that can come from finally having an explanation for lifelong challenges. That experience has shaped my approach to therapy and deepened my appreciation for the resilience people develop while trying to navigate a world that wasn't designed with their needs in mind.
My work is grounded in the belief that every person has a unique nervous system, unique strengths, and unique challenges. Rather than treating a label, I focus on understanding you as a whole person. I draw from established therapy approaches, neuroscience, and our growing understanding of the connection between the brain and body. I also believe that therapy doesn't have to feel cold or clinical. Humor, relatable analogies, and practical tools are often part of our conversations.
I work primarily with adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or exhausted from constantly trying to keep up. Many are navigating neurodivergence, life transitions, relationship challenges, or the loss of skills that can accompany chronic stress and burnout. I also provide an affirming space for clients in kink, polyamorous, and other consensual nontraditional relationships.
My goal is to help you better understand yourself, reduce overwhelm, build sustainable strategies, and create a life that feels more authentic and manageable. You don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can work through it together, one step at a time.

I’m passionate about helping clients understand how early experiences and relationships shape the way they see themselves, navigate challenges, and connect with others—and I’m continually inspired by the powerful ways therapy, supported by neuroscience, can help the brain and body heal.
Outside the therapy room, I find joy in traveling, lifelong learning, reading, and cherishing time with my friends and family. I’m also deeply connected to the mind–body relationship and believe that true healing honors both. And on any given day, you’ll likely hear me mention my love of animals—especially my beloved corgis—who remind me daily of the importance of presence, curiosity, and play.

A little more about me: I'm a Minnesota native currently living in Florida. I spend a lot of my time as a sports mom on the sidelines at soccer and volleyball games, watching professional hockey (especially the MN Wild!), and being hopelessly bad at gardening in Florida.
I am a Texas native who enjoys traveling the world and learning about new cultures. I hold a Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas and a Master's in Counseling from Sam Houston State University. I believe in creating a safe space for my clients to connect with me, share their issues, and find resolution. With my psychology background, I utilize therapeutic techniques from Gestalt, Carl Rogers, Albert Ellis, and Aaron Beck. I tailor my sessions to each client and meet them where they are. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, work stress, trauma, and PTSD
