Hi! I'm a board-certified psychiatric Nurse Practitioner graduated from Washburn University, Kansas and practicing as a mental health prescriber since 2021. I work mostly with adult patients at an outpatient setting. My dream clients are those who have an openness to treatment and have motivation to change. They like to keep an effective communication, collaborative relationship and respectful boundaries. My dream clients also have compliance to their treatment, and they are hopeful about a positive outcome. I understand that every client is unique, and while these characteristics may define my dream client, it's essential to approach each individual with empathy, understanding, and flexibility.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
During our initial meeting we will start doing brief introductions. We will discuss the reason for the client's visit and the provider will conduct a complete psychiatric evaluation by asking specific questions to the client. The information will be documented at a HIPPA compliant Electronic Records System(EHR) . The initial diagnosis and treatment plan will be discussed with the patient. Referral for psychotherapy and electronic medication prescriptions are available as needed. Follow up appointment is recommended to schedule at the same day.

I started my prescriber career working as medical practitioner at a busy Emergency Room since 2010, and pursued my post masters psychiatry certification in 2021. I have been working with mental health patients since 2014 and had worked at a large psychiatric emergency room and inpatient/ out patient detox facilities . I'm compassionate and concerned about my patients progress.
Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.
I love to see patients at the age of 18+. I'm available as in person and by telehealth, to provide psychiatric evaluations, school/ work accommodations , Bariatric surgery clearance, medication management and for psychotherapy referral. I have a great network with licensed therapists who can provide affordable therapy by virtual and in person sessions.

I'm a mental health prescriber. I diagnose my patients based on their symptoms, using DSM-5 criteria. Previous medical records may be requested if available. Patient will be evaluated for about 45 minutes during the initial visit , diagnosis and treatment plan will be discussed at the end. Referral for psychotherapy and medication management are available as needed. Each patients will be followed up regularly and the provider is available to contact via text messages during 7 days a week.
