I am licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT102398), working in private practice in Oakland, CA. I received my clinical training from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, San Francisco where I also earned a Master’s degree in counseling psychology.
My goal is to provide compassionate and culturally sensitive counseling in the Oakland/San Francisco Bay Area and throgughout California. I can provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive space as you navigate through your personal experiences. Whether you are seeking help with depression, anxiety, feeling stuck in your life, or even traumatic situations from your past, I can help. I can also provide guidance in situations where there are family or relationships challenges, as well as concerns specific to young adults. Remember: You are not alone and there is always hope.
I approach therapy in a holistic way: Meaning that I am interested in a person's entire well-being rather than just focusing on the problems they bring into therapy. I also use a mix of therapy styles that allows me to flexibly work with each client based on their unique, individual needs and goals. Together, we can work to get you moving in the direction you decide is best. When you are ready, I invite you to contact me so that we may take the next step on your journey
I utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions that allow me to flexibly work with every client according to the individual need.
I base my methods on the needs of each client and what they may need at the time.
