About me

A bit about me, I believe that I am not an expert on your life; you are! I am a BIPOC trauma-informed clinician. I have provided mental health services in government, academic settings, and private practice. I have experience working with teens and adults who have histories of trauma. In our sessions, I’ll keep you accountable through at-home assignments, I’ll show you how to be vulnerable through role-play, and periodically I’ll integrate different techniques such as brain-spotting, tapping, or EMDR to ensure that you leave the session feeling lighter and more equipped to embrace any challenge. I’ll ask that you pivot and lean in when you feel most like running away. Yes, I’m going to ask that you be flexible and stretch. Write this down, “try it on,” because you will hear me say this time and time again. You’re here for a reason. Are you ready to take the first step? Getting started is usually the most challenging part. Call me so that I can answer your questions; it's time to get out of your head and into a session. Start living your BEST LIFE!
