Born and raised in Southern California, I enjoy the outdoors, longboarding, martial arts, learning, and playing games. Since Graduating from Loma Linda University, I have 20 + years of experience working with adolescents and their families in a variety of outpatient, inpatient, residential, academic, and other settings. My expertise is in helping adolescents and their parents learn ways to form supportive relationships and work together to manage challenging circumstances and emotions.
In the first session we work together to lay a foundation for a respectful environment where therapeutic concerns can be identified and processed and where realistic goals can be identified. Through a process of kind, compassionate, direct and honest therapeutic feedback and therapeutic support we will work together as a team to create hope and a plan to support future improvement and promote healthy change.
With 20 + years of experience working with adolescents and their families, I understand many of the specific and complex challenges that families face and experience.
Help adolescents and families identify and utilize inherent strengths to learn coping skills, build resilience and reduce personal and relational challenges.
