Vanessa Doobay
Vanessa Doobay, APN, MSN, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with 10+ years of nursing experience in mental health. She spent the majority of her nursing career caring for patients with mental health needs ranging from the long-term care, adults, and gerontology community to patients with addiction and acute withdrawal. Her goals are to help individuals and families who are struggling with mental illnesses particularly those in minority, transgender, and gender-expansive communities. Ms. Doobay completed a Master's in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatry at Northern Kentucky University. She also received training in treating individuals with Substance Use Disorder and did professional training in ADHD, Autism and creating sacred spaces for gender-expansive communities.
Her goals are to help individuals and families who are struggling with mental illnesses particularly those in minority, transgender, and gender-expansive communities.

First session
Clients can leave one of my sessions with full knowledge of the plan of care, expected outcomes, and resources needed to manage their condition in-between visits. Clients can also be confident that their plan of care has been optimized to meet their unique needs.
