Empowering
Intelligent

Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Los Angeles. I have been practicing for over five years and received my Master's degree at Pepperdine University. I am a humanistic therapist; my goal in therapy is to help create a safe space so that my clients can talk through whatever is on their mind and get the support they need to build awareness and live a more values congruent life. My goal is to help my clients become the best version of themselves, and to feel like they are struggling less in their life overall.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is more structured than the rest of our sessions. I spend a little bit of time discussing some important information about what you can expect from me. After this, I spend the time getting to know you! I am curious about who you are, what you are looking for in therapy, why you feel therapy is important at this time, and anything else you want me to know! I ask questions along the way to make sure I am getting any super important information I need to start building a treatment plan with you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I think my greatest strength as a provider is that I am compassionate and curious. I genuinely want to learn about you and see you thrive!

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My favorite clients are clients who want to live a better life and are open to having the difficult conversations that are sometimes necessary in order to do that. I love working with clients who are curious about themselves and who are motivated to make changes so they can be happier. I work with adults of all ages!

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I am a humanistic therapist. I believe that the most important part of therapy is the therapeutic bond. I work on helping my clients feel safe, discuss their lives, and provide feedback to help them build their ideal lives.

Compassion Focused

My goal is to always make my clients feel safe and I lead with compassion.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

As a first generation therapist of color, I know how important cultural sensitivity is. I do not presume to be the expert of my client's cultural experience. Instead, I ask my clients to tell me about their relationship with their culture. I approach with curiosity and an interest in learning about my client's cultural experiences, while keeping in mind cultural sensitivity and mindfulness of cultural experiences.

Strength-Based

I always want to help my clients notice their own strengths. I think that it is as important as noticing the things that need work!

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Sometimes, long term therapy isn't what is needed. Some clients need support analyzing a situation and figuring out a solution that will help them live their life in a way that is easier and more in line with their values systems.
