My name is Priscilla and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been working in the field of mental health for over 14 years. I graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and went on to pursue a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have spent the majority of my career working to help individuals to make a positive shift in their life. Depression, anxiety, ADHD and high-stress are some of my specialties. Let me help you unpack so you can begin to focus on what's important and find meaning in life again.
In our first session I will gather information about symptoms, situations and behaviors in order to explore the mental health concern and areas where you may struggle.
I have an easy-going approach to therapy and will go only as far as you take us. I am drawing on modalities such as Family Systems, CBT, Client Centered Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. I chose to become a mental health professional because life is anything but smooth sailing.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is about shifting the way you think so you behave differently. It's about unlearning mal adaptive thinking patterns and replacing it with positive/realistic thinking.

Priscilla is attentive, kind, and asks about previous topics to make sure I have overcome any challenges those topics may have previously presented. I am so grateful she is helping me through my healing journey.
