I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California and I've been working in private practice since 2012. I've also worked in outpatient settings, community clinics and for a time with Hospice.

I've been working remotely since 2020 and am so grateful to be able to serve a wider network of folks throughout California.
First session
In our first session I will get to know you and your story so that I can understand more about your history and unique circumstances. I try to leave time for a somatic intervention so that you can experience some of the techniques we might use in our work together. If you are the type who likes "homework" outside of session I can offer some but that's always optional.
Strengths
My authenticity has always felt like my therapy superpower. I really try not to show up in session much different than I am in real life. I feel it's important for us to connect as humans first and foremost. I am also straight forward and offer direct feedback when it's warranted (always with compassion and kindness)
Ideal clients
I really enjoy working with young adults just finding their footing as they launch into adulthood. Often times this part of life includes reflecting on family values and setting boundaries with parents. I am also well suited to work with folks who have complex trauma and enjoy working with folks that fit this profile as well.
Treatment methods
Humanistic
There are lots of great therapeutic modalities out there and I try to bring an eclectic mix to my sessions but to me at the end of the day, the relationship we create together is the most important thing we can do. A humanistic perspective prioritizes the therapeutic relationship and creates a safe environment for healing. We are humans seeking connection above all else.
