Hi, I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), and Family Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified (FNP-C). I received my Masters degree from University of Phoenix and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from University of Massachusetts Global (DNP). I have been practicing for 7 years. I help young adult, adults and geriatric patients for the diagnosis and treatment of major psychiatric illnesses.

In our first session, we will start with brief introduction, then get into symptoms that will help in the diagnosis of the mental illness the patient is facing. It will also help to provide a tailored. plan for the treatment and follow-up sessions.

Having worked with young adults, adults and geriatrics for the past 7 years, I have developed important skills such as client rapport, empathy, compassion, active listening, organization, record keeping, information technology savvy, healthy professional boundaries, strong ethics and a desire to help fellow human beings.

I love working with patients with depression, anxiety d/o, schizophrenia, bipolar, and various mental health issues. My clients are eager to improve on their mental health illnesses and they reach out to me as needed.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT has helped me to structure my pt. to become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking; therefore able to view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way.

Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have used DBT in treating mood disorders and suicidal ideation as well as changing behavioral patterns, deceasing suicidal behaviors, emotional reactivity , depression and self invalidation.
