Brenda L. Davis
Hello. My name is Brenda L. Davis. I am a licensed clinical social worker providing virtual behavioral health services in New Jersey. I am a graduate of Columbia University School of Social Work and my area of specialty is clinical social work practice. My treatment modality is psychodynamic psychotherapy and I work with adults 18 years and up, who want to work work on depression, generalized anxiety, grief work, and childhood trauma.
First session
The clients may be asked to present the problems that brought them to seek therapy problems now and to prioritize where to start. An explanation of treatment methods will be provided, and the clients will have an opportunity to ask questions.
Strengths
My strengths are that clinical social work is a passion for me. I actively and respectfully engage in the therapeutic process and want to know why a client is seeking help now and how we can quantify the changes as they occur.
