As a Spanish-speaking provider, I create a warm, welcoming space where you can feel comfortable sharing your concerns, challenges, and goals.
I take the time to truly listen and understand your experience, and I work collaboratively with you to develop a treatment plan that feels supportive, practical, and tailored to your needs. My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and empowered every step of the way.
First session
During our first session, we will focus on understanding your current concerns, including your presenting problem, symptoms, and personal goals for treatment. You will have the opportunity to share your experience in a supportive, nonjudgmental space, and I will ask questions to better understand your history and needs. Together, we will begin to outline a treatment plan, which may include therapy approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and, if appropriate, a discussion about medication options. The goal is to create a clear, collaborative path forward so you feel informed, comfortable, and supported in your care.
Strengths
My greatest strengths include my ability to truly listen with compassion and provide individualized, attentive care, focusing on one patient at a time. I create a safe, supportive space where patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns, challenges, and goals without judgment. My approach is collaborative and structured, helping patients gain insight, build practical coping skills, and make meaningful progress through evidence-based methods. I am also familiar for clear communication, cultural sensitivity, and helping patients feel empowered, understood, and actively involved in their treatment.
Ideal clients
I am best positioned to serve adults ages 18 to 64 who are seeking both psychiatric care and therapy in an integrated, collaborative setting. I work well with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, mood instability, insomnia, and stress-related conditions, particularly those who are motivated to better understand their symptoms and actively participate in treatment. My approach combines medication management as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with structured therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to help patients develop practical coping skills and long-term strategies for stability. I am especially suited for patients open to telehealth, who value clear communication, cultural sensitivity, and a collaborative, goal-oriented approach to improving their mental health and overall functioning.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
My approach to care emphasizes trust, collaboration, and respect, with a strong focus on delivering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through telehealth. I prioritize building a solid therapeutic relationship, as it is essential for effective CBT work. Sessions are structured, goal-oriented, and focused on identifying and modifying unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, while providing practical skills patients can apply between visits. I offer evidence-based care, listen without judgment, and engage patients in shared decision-making. Treatment plans are individualized, culturally sensitive, and designed to support both symptom relief and long-term wellbeing, with an emphasis on clear communication, safety, and empowering patients in their progress.
