New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual therapy for adults ages 18 and up at Eucalyptus Hope and Wellness, A Licensed Clinical Social Worker Professional Corporation. I offer a supportive, respectful, and collaborative space where clients can explore challenges, build on their strengths, and work toward meaningful personal goals. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, and life transitions such as career changes, school transitions, retirement, and early parenthood, including postpartum adjustment. I also support clients who feel stuck and are seeking motivation and support to get back on track. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based, person-centered therapy. I also incorporate mindfulness and culturally responsive care, with faith-informed counseling available for clients who wish to integrate their spiritual beliefs. Through our work together, clients often gain greater clarity, improved coping skills, and a stronger sense of direction as they move toward meaningful and lasting change.
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a collaborative working relationship. I will meet you where you are, and we will move forward at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, review relevant background information as needed, and identify initial goals for treatment. Most importantly, I will listen to you and support you in feeling comfortable and understood. There is no pressure to share everything at once. We will focus on what feels most helpful in the moment and begin identifying a direction for our work together. By the end of the session, we will have a clearer sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to meet clients where they are and create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they feel heard and understood. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful change. I bring a creative, thoughtful, and optimistic approach to therapy. When appropriate, I also incorporate warmth and lightness into the process to help create a comfortable and supportive environment. I am highly intentional and deeply committed to the work I do, and I genuinely care about supporting clients in their growth and progress. I provide motivation and encouragement throughout the therapeutic process while helping clients build insight and practical coping skills. I have the ability to relate to individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, which allows me to build strong therapeutic connections and provide culturally responsive care. I use a collaborative, strengths-based approach that integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness. I help clients identify unhelpful patterns, build practical coping skills, and move toward realistic and meaningful goals. I am especially experienced in working with clients who are new to therapy or come from cultural backgrounds where mental health care may not have traditionally been emphasized. I also work well with clients who already value therapy as part of their self-care and personal maintenance, and who use it to stay grounded, gain insight, and remain on track in their lives. I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, and major life transitions, including career changes, school transitions, retirement, and early parenthood. I also work with clients who feel stuck and are seeking encouragement and support to get back on track. Faith-informed counseling is available for clients who wish to incorporate their spiritual beliefs into the therapeutic process, always guided by the client’s comfort and preferences. Overall, my work focuses on helping clients gain clarity, develop coping strategies, and build confidence as they move toward lasting emotional growth and resilience.
My dream clients are adults ages 18 and up who are navigating life changes and transitions and are ready to make meaningful improvements in their emotional well-being. This includes young professionals adjusting to new jobs, career changes, or seeking better work-life balance while managing stress, anxiety, or burnout. I also work well with individuals who feel stuck or overwhelmed and are seeking encouragement, motivation, and practical support to get back on track. This includes people entering new life stages such as starting or leaving school, changing career paths, or transitioning into retirement. Additionally, I support individuals who are new to therapy, as well as those returning to therapy and looking to continue growth or reestablish their progress. I welcome clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and provide culturally responsive care. Faith-informed counseling is available for clients who wish to integrate their spiritual beliefs into therapy.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to help you catch, check, and change unhelpful thoughts so you can get back on track with your goals. Together, we build practical skills to improve thinking patterns, emotional responses, and behaviors. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy I focus on your strengths and what’s already working in your life. Together, we set clear, achievable goals and identify practical steps to create positive change in a short period of time. Faith-Based Therapy When you choose, I integrate your spiritual or faith beliefs into therapy. This approach can offer added meaning, comfort, and guidance that aligns with your values.
Grief Therapy
I provide a supportive space for you to process loss at your own pace. I help you navigate complex emotions while finding ways to honor your experience and adjust to life after loss.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I incorporate mindfulness techniques to help you stay grounded in the present moment. This approach can reduce stress, increase self-awareness, and support emotional balance.
Motivational Interviewing
I use motivational interviewing to help you explore your goals and strengthen your motivation for change. This collaborative approach supports you in working through uncertainty and taking meaningful steps forward.
Faith based therapy
I offer Christian faith-based therapy when desired and work with clients of all backgrounds in a respectful, client-centered way.
