I'm always hesitant to try medication; however, it was needed during this time. Dr. Akpengbe was incredibly thoughtful in informing me of the why behind the what as we talked through medication history, current state, and the most effective treatment to get me through this wave. I also appreciated her mention of this not having to be a life-long solution and potential timeline to monitor how I'm feeling. She's amazing and I'm so glad she was suggested to me! I feel a weight has been lifted.
