Hello, my name is Christina. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals, couples, and families. My clinical work focuses on supporting clients through trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and behavioral challenges. I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes. My approach integrates evidence-based practices designed to build resilience, strengthen relationships, and support personal growth. I specialize in trauma-focused therapy and often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) within a client-centered framework to help facilitate lasting change. In our work together, I strive to provide a nonjudgmental space where we can explore your concerns, clarify your goals, and work toward healing at a pace that feels right for you. If you feel ready, I invite you to reach out so we can begin this journey together

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, you can expect a supportive and nonjudgmental space where we begin getting to know one another. We’ll talk about what has brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and any goals you may have for treatment. I may ask questions about your personal history, relationships, and past experiences to better understand your unique story and how I can best support you. This session is also a chance for you to ask questions, share what you’re hoping to gain from therapy, and get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and trauma-focused care, providing clients with clear, practical tools they can use in their daily lives. At the same time, I maintain a client-centered, collaborative style, ensuring that therapy is tailored to each person’s unique experiences, goals, and pace. I focus on both insight and action. I support clients in understanding the patterns behind their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also teaching coping skills that promote lasting change. I place strong emphasis on safety, trust, and emotional readiness, especially when working with trauma. This creates a space where clients can feel grounded enough to explore difficult experiences without becoming overwhelmed. My clients often experience a reduction in anxiety and stress, improved coping and emotion regulation skills, greater self-awareness and confidence, healthier relationship patterns and communication, and a stronger sense of stability, control, and direction. My ability to blend clinical expertise with a compassionate, individualized approach helps clients not only gain insight, but also build the skills and confidence needed for lasting, meaningful change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with clients who are ready for change and open to actively participating in the therapeutic process. Therapy is a collaborative experience, and meaningful progress often comes from a willingness to explore, reflect, and try new approaches. I understand that starting therapy isn’t always easy. For some, it’s a difficult decision; for others, it may not feel like a choice at all. Wherever you’re starting from, you’re welcome here. I encourage you to come into the process with an open mind and a willingness to engage. Together, we’ll work toward creating healthier, more positive changes that support your overall well-being. You don’t have to go through this alone—we’ll work through it together.

My treatment methods

Trauma-Focused CBT

I have over four years of experience helping clients process and heal from trauma. In our work together, we’ll move at a pace that feels manageable for you while building a strong sense of safety and stability. Using evidence-based approaches, we’ll explore how past experiences may be affecting your present and develop practical tools to help you regulate emotions, reduce distress, and regain a sense of control. The goal of trauma-focused therapy is not to relive the past, but to process it in a way that allows you to move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and confidence.

Humanistic

My approach to therapy is grounded in humanistic principles, focusing on you as a whole person rather than a set of symptoms. I believe that each individual has an inherent capacity for growth, self-awareness, and meaningful change. In our work together, I offer a supportive, empathetic, and nonjudgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences openly. Through this process, we’ll work to deepen your self-understanding, strengthen your sense of identity, and clarify what matters most to you, supporting you in moving toward a more authentic, balanced, and fulfilling life.

Faith based therapy

For clients who wish to incorporate their faith into the therapeutic process, I offer a faith-based approach that integrates spiritual values with evidence-based practices. This approach can provide an added layer of meaning, comfort, and guidance as you navigate life’s challenges. In our work together, we can explore how your beliefs, values, and spiritual perspective shape your experiences and coping strategies. When appropriate, we may incorporate practices such as reflection, prayer, or faith-informed principles alongside therapeutic techniques. This approach is always tailored to your preferences and respects your individual beliefs, supporting you in finding strength, clarity, and healing in a way that feels authentic to you.
