Hi! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Southern California. I received my Masters from Cal State Long Beach and have been practicing for 5 years now. I have worked with different populations that range from youth to older adults. I help my patients navigate crisis situations and teach them coping skills that are essential in managing negative symptoms.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and then discuss why it is that you are seeking therapy. This session will also be used for you to determine if you feel comfortable with me as your therapist in order to continue with additional sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Each client is different and comes to therapy for different needs. I adjust to each client in order to best meet them where they are at and tailor a treatment plan according to their needs. I do not try to push any client to do things that they feel uncomfortable doing or if they don't feel ready to do. I do my best to guide each client through this difficult time in their life by teaching them the tools they need and create a safe space for them to work through their stressors.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with clients that are seeking therapy because they are going through a stressful situation that might be life changing or that they are trying to adjust to. Usually, these life events can cause clients stress, anxiety, and sometimes even grief. I help my patients navigate the changes in their life by teaching them coping skills in order to better manage their negative symptoms and help them get through this tough time in their life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT for the past five years. It’s helped clients identify how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. This intervention helps challenge negative thoughts with the purpose of positively changing thinking patterns, feelings, and behaviors.
