About Me . . . Hi! I'm Beverly Clemons Snowden, a compassionate yet direct therapist. My therapeutic approach tend to be innovative, highly intuitive and directive. I am passionate about empowering those I work with to identify their inner strengths, thus promoting personal growth. Before becoming a therapist, I had seven years of success in the real estate industry, primarily in mortgage loans services. Although it was financially rewarding, I worked excessively and felt detached and unfulfilled. I yearend for deeper connections rather than transactional attachments. I felt empty. During that time, I became more and more intrigued about human interaction and personal empowerment. I realized that becoming a therapist was my personal calling to satisfy my sense of purpose. My Emphasis . . . My primary emphasis is enhancing relationships between self, couples and families, working with adults who are dealing with unresolved traumas resulting in anxiety, depression, addictions and other mood disorders. I also have many years experience with assisting couples through a divorce, child custody mediation and other relational issues.
My role as a therapist is to help you realize and tap into your inner strengths so you can do life a little better. It is an honor to be invited into a heart of one who is hurting deeply. Therapy offers the opportunity to create a safe space. Therapy can breathe life back into you so you can feel like you are finally living rather than simply existing. You are not alone. I am here to partner with you as your personal sounding board. I help you find practical solutions to complicated problems. Let your journey of healing, learning, and growing begin.….
