It can feel like addiction is writing your story, but it doesn't have to! We all have the strength to learn how to work with our brain and not let it have all the control. My goal is to help you hone the skills needed to find that strength and to help begin writing the story of the life that you have always envisioned for yourself.
Using skills from DBT, Attachment Theory, Nervous System Training, and Solution Focused therapy I make it my goal to help people navigate the stressors that come with life whether big or small.
My specialties include, but are not limited to: substance use, anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, and trauma.

I hold a Master’s degree from Prairie View University and specialize in helping individuals of all ages overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. Hi there! I'm Courtney. I received my Masters from St. Edwards University and have been practicing for four years. I work with couples and adult individuals, offering virtual therapy to Colorado & Texas residents. My specialty areas include relational issues & dynamics, anxiety, people pleasing & self-growth. I am here to support you in creating meaningful change and deeper connections.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, mentally unsteady, or unsure how to move forward — you don’t have to carry that alone.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of North Carolina State University. I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, and questions of direction or purpose. Many of the people I support feel capable and motivated — yet internally worn down, struggling to feel grounded, present, or confident in themselves.
My primary focus is helping clients stabilize emotionally and mentally — so you feel more anchored, regulated, and clear. From that place of steadiness, we begin to explore how you can grow into the fullest version of yourself, making the most of your strengths, values, and lived experience rather than trying to become someone you’re not.
Therapy with me is not about pushing or fixing — it’s about creating a solid foundation where clarity, confidence, and meaningful change can naturally emerge. For those who find meaning and strength in their Christian faith, I welcome that as part of our work together — though spirituality is never required or assumed. You bring what matters to you, and we build from there.
Welcome! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-S) based in Texas. I am originally from San Antonio, Texas, and received my bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin. During my undergraduate work I had the opportunity to study abroad in Accra, Ghana. After my ungraduate studies, I stayed in Austin for a while to continue working overnight at a shelter for survivors of sexual and domestic violence for women, children, and transgendered women while answering a 24/7 National Suicide Prevention Hotline.
I went on to attain my master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the Graduate College of Social Work at the University of Houston. I spent two additional years in clinical supervision working in hospitals, crisis mobile mental health, and facilitating groups to attain my independent clinical license. Thereafter, I spent time in clinical practice to build expertise to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor providing individual, family, and group therapy. Most recently I have broadened my scope of practice to include my Chemical Dependency Counseling license and Certification in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. In my free time, I enjoy singing, spending time with family and friends, cooking, film, and television.
I help adults struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship distress, and work related stress become the best versions of themselves.
We will laugh! We will discover! We will create a plan for change! Intakes are 30 minutes. But regular sessions are 45-55 minutes! Let’s try to get through this challenging time in your life, together! I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. I can't wait to embark on this journey of healing discovery with you! BTW, I am "booked up" for couples and family therapy. At this time, I am only accepting individual therapy clients-no couples, or family therapy.

My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQI+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (6+), adults, older adults, families, and couples.

My EMDRIA certification is currently pending.
I also have extensive experience using Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure-based interventions, mindfulness, and other integrative approaches. Hi, I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) with over two decades of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges.
I am passionate about helping individuals who are struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, anxiety, depression, and the everyday stressors that can leave us feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. I also have a passion for working with women who are experiencing difficult life transitions and periods of grief and loss. I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported without judgment.
My approach to therapy is client-centered, meaning I meet each person where they are and tailor the therapeutic process to their unique needs and goals. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and together we work toward creating greater balance, self-awareness, and emotional well-being in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable for you.
My path into counseling began in 2006, working as an addiction counselor in the prison system. Since then, I've worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, psychiatric hospitals, and intensive outpatient programs. These experiences have given me the opportunity to work with people from many different backgrounds and life circumstances, while reinforcing a belief that lasting change happens through connection, self-awareness, and authenticity.
Clients often describe me as warm, genuine, and easy to talk to, while also being direct enough to gently challenge unhelpful patterns when they arise. I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation, not a clinical checklist. While I draw from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, and narrative therapy, I also believe growth happens when we slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and pay attention to what truly matters. My love of nature and the outdoors has shaped both my life and my work, and I value helping clients find greater balance, self-acceptance, and alignment with their values.
My goal is not to fix people, but to help them recognize their strengths, trust themselves, and move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and purpose.

I have a special passion for supporting women, mothers, helping professionals, and individuals working to heal from difficult relationships while rediscovering their confidence and sense of purpose.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, empowering, and person-centered. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and mindfulness techniques while tailoring treatment to each client’s unique goals and experiences. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, respected, challenged, and supported not judged.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, navigating a major life change, struggling with anxiety, or simply wanting to become the healthiest version of yourself, we’ll work together to build practical tools, increase resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.
If desired, I also offer faith-sensitive counseling for clients who would like to incorporate their Christian beliefs into the therapeutic process, while always respecting each client’s individual values and preferences.
Seeking therapy is a courageous first step, and I’m honored to be part of your journey. I look forward to helping you move from surviving to thriving.
